Isn't it copying dribbble a bit too much? I mean, the script font, the triple letters in the middle etc. ?
Schools, teachers and students don't know :shh:
Big market for educational products. :P (The market is already filled with shitty ones) Update: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/6VLd7.png[/thumb]
I would make the bottom bar thinner I think, its hard to say though as I think it would look fine on a page were you cannot see both the header and the footer on a single screen. Can't say I am massive fan of the logo either but I guess its a wip. All in all though looks very clean, everything is nice and square.
Is it better to use <input type="submit"> and <input type="button"> or <button>? I saw the latter being used in quite a few sites, what are the advantages other than you can put some html elements in it?

I also remember reading something about inconsistencies when using <button> inside a form, but can't for the life of me remember what it was, or if it's actually a concern.
That was a while ago, though, and I don't see the risk in having to deal with avoiding one or the other anymore. Simply put, use input for simple values, and button for HTML content within buttons.

Though last time I checked I think Facebook didn't work very well on IE6. Thanks for the info StinkyJoe!

http://russel.comlu.com/insults/ Should work now. Could you guys point out any other bugs? Also the "schoool" logo would look better centred. But the rest is nice.

Which one?
Which one?
2. Looks less like dribbble.
2. Looks less like dribbble.
If anything 2 makes it look even more like dribbble.
Which one?
neither
Are you seriously using the name "schoool" Most unoriginal name I have seen since couphon
Are you seriously using the name "schoool" Most unoriginal name I have seen since couphon
Remove vowels be hipster schl
Remove vowels be hipster schl
Yep, all the hip new websites get rid of vowels, why do you think I called gradstr gradstr
Remove vowels be hipster schl
How is that "hipster" in any form?
Are you seriously using the name "schoool" Most unoriginal name I have seen since couphon
It's not set in stone yet. I'd like to have a different name and probably different font as at the moment I just can't help myself think of Dribbble even if the clients don't know what it is it'd drive me crazy.
Remove vowels be hipster schl
Four letters are so main stream though. Why not just "s" it's simple and easy to understand!
Which one?
1. It may just be me but I find the capitalized 'S' easier to read.
How is that "hipster" in any form?
Vwls r wy t mnstrm
I don't know why I said 2 when I mean't 1. :(
Vwls ar wy t mnstrm
In this age, everything is "hipster." I don't get it.
In this age, everything is "hipster." I don't get it.
It's a joke  Stereotypical hipsters = skinny jeans, faux thick rimmed glasses, use Macs, complain everyone else is "too mainstream" even though they're practically all wearing the same style of clothes, listen to "indie" non "mainstream" music, use Instagram. tl;dr "too mainstream"
Hipsters are too mainstream, fuck those guys
[t]http://i.imgur.com/4uydf.png[/t]
I'm not sure if it's a good idea for you to have the header/footer and content areas to be lined up like that.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea for you to have the header/footer and content areas to be lined up like that.
huh?
