So I acquired http://speedwaymotorcycles.com today. How long until DNS records get updated?
They say it could take 72 hours, but usually when I buy a domain and setup the DNS I can access it within an hour.
http://mc.braxnet.org/upload/ Can someone tell me if it's safe?
I made a crappy little landing page for some domain I have: edit: cc? maybe? it doesn't really matter
get a font with better smoothing also, if you insist on some sort of shadow, i would reccomand something more subtle like text-shadow: white 0px 1px;
In the process of designing my next project: World Census As you may have guessed, it'll have polls for everyone to participate in, and be able to view the data for. Here's the design so far: http://clickphilia.com/wc/ I went for a more traditional and classic look with the serif fonts etc. because I don't think enough people go for that even though it can look really good, but I dunno whether it has worked here. Also feedback on the whole idea would be appreciated :v: Thanks
I found a Compaq P3000 in my dad's server room. Aww yeah, no updates since 2003, a Transmeta Crusoe. It's fun to doodle on, though :v: Edit:
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7s9AE.png[/img_thumb]
I think you might want to change that red cirlce/logo. It kind of looks like it's from a sort of ribbon, but just looks really strange to me. Overall, it's pretty nice, though.
I just started learning HTML and CSS. Some day soon I hope to make my own Omegle clone. [editline]7th August 2011[/editline] Also Tom Bombadil is further down, sorry for the confusion. :ohdear:
doing some more client work
What's with the jagged circle?
That's just a logo/logo placeholder I'm using for now, I will probably make a proper logo in the near future
Wow this section is really inactive these days.. http://mc.braxnet.org/upload - added a list of files and some other stuff

Finally starting to learn PHP for a project I am working on, jumped in at the deep end though by tryingto incorporate databases!
skip php and go straight for something nicer
making a bit of progress into a mobile site I'm working on, it's a school project that's meant to be a cash register-like tool for cafes photo of my phones' screen

They seem a bit too close to the edges.
mmm, I agree. I was working in my desktop browser on the site, and everything was looking ok, but then when I went across to my phone everything became tiny because of the crazy pixel density. 'new orders' should also be 'new order'

What's that one site that had a design similar to that of Half-Life 2's game menu
What's that one site that had a design similar to that of Half-Life 2's game menu
http://www.half-life2sandbox.com/ but now it's just "holler"
oh time to re-create it i guess
http://www.half-life2sandbox.com/ but now it's just "holler"
Poor Andrew (amcfaggot).

Chillax whalefax, I'm doin' it right now babe. [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] Oh God, I accidentally uploaded the wiki, too. I don't think I have a database backup though. Map-animation is smooth, video is just shite.
Looks amazing in action, great work.
I've been working on this http://www.mcskinsearch.com/dev/ I don't know if I plan on using it, just wanted to practice the concept.
Looks amazing in action, great work.
Thanks :) Currently: just moved the actual game-play maps to be made of all the tiles rather than a 'generated' image; making it super-quick/easy to update/edit/etc maps live in the game, direct from the user-side of map editing.
further work on my mobile site, when the 'place order' button is pressed it grabs all the values from the coffee types above and puts it in a JSON string, ready for AJAX POST'ing
