Thank you. I have no reason to fight with every one here. I am going to delete this project anyway, shit concept and was never going to go anywhere. What can I do next?
You can do anything you want. Just please take inspiration, don't steal. There's a stark difference between the two: stealing means taking what's been made by someone else and blindly using it in your own project, without knowing why or making sure it fits with the rest. Taking inspiration means seeing something you like and starting to think about how you could use the concept (not the exact thing) in your own project, how you could improve on it and how you could make it fit well together with what you're making, both in terms of style and user experience.
Try that, it's for your own good and it'll stop other shitstorms like this one from starting up.
I think people should stop going on about him stealing sites, just move on now

But you're right, enough is enough. You can't leave these things unnoticed though.

I thought sublime licenses could be used on multiple machines
[editline]9th October 2011[/editline]
yeah
Licenses are per-user, rather than per-machine, so you can enjoy Sublime Text on as many computers and operating systems as you wish with your license. Licenses are valid for both Sublime Text 1 and 2.
Since the day I added an introductory box to show on the first visit to http://qfi.im for new users, which explains what qfi.im does and how to use it, the bounce rate has rocketed from a low 4% to around 30%. Does this mean that when new users see the introduction they go "LOL NO" and leave the page? What the fuck, I thought it would do the inverse effect.
I thought sublime licenses could be used on multiple machines
[editline]9th October 2011[/editline]
yeah
I'm using my license on my windows desktop and it's Debian VM. I bought it because I'm using sublime as a tool to make money, and the developers of sublime deserve every cent of what they make. If I wasn't using it commercially, I wouldn't give a fuck.
Also, my website is a single page, and I just read that
The bounce rate is simply the percentage of single-page visits to your site, i.e. where the visitor arrived at your site, looked at the information on the page they landed on and then left without going onto any more pages.
But still, it was a single page even before I added those changes, what affected the bounce rate like that? It had always been low.
[editline]9th October 2011[/editline]
It didn't seem to have an effect on the number of users who clicked the Submit button, though.

Oct 2 is the date when I pushed the changes.
This is incredibly weird.
[editline]9th October 2011[/editline]
Is there a way to have more insight into what's going on?
This is the graph of the bounce rate.

There are plenty of ways you can get more insight into what's going on. I guess for a site like yours, some sort of tracked funnel would be ideal, at the very least implement a goal so you can track the effectiveness of the page. To do either of those though, you'll have to chance how the page behaves.
If you really care, you can also add stuff like a heatmap that tracks where users click on the page, which can give you some good insights into what users are doing. Crazy Egg offer an awesome one with a free trial.
You could also work on the submit button, I didn't even notice it at a first glance and it's pretty much the thing that should be right there jumping in your face.

Analytics does heatmaps.
Analytics does heatmaps.
It tracks clicks on links only. The Crazy Egg thing goes one better and track all clicks on the page, so you can see how people are interacting with the site.

Yesterday I worked on programming and designing a video game for http://www.anticscomic.com/ (Permalink to comic in question) in our WebDev Google+ Hangout. (Yeah, I know.)
I should have been doing design stuff for my website so I can get that up, but oh well.
I'll release it in GD when I'm done (should be done by this afternoon, I was slow and distracted a lot yesterday).
How is this for a more noticeable submit button?
looks like it's off by 1pixel, this makes me angry
It's always been like that.
Looks good, but I'd add a small margin to the top of the button so it's not right up against the edge.

So, does anyone think I should border this with a box?
This is my first attempt ever at creating something even somewhat appealing visually. I'd like feedback please.

Solved PK Russet's map-slowness! Was due to me setting the game loop so slow (50ms) that 20fps was the max.

Okay and this depends on Java and really is just a PHP inspired language given that it is just a reimplementation (won't take much effort to replicate everything of course) with some ~improvements~. And it depends on Java.
May as well give it a new name entirely. Like I dunno phipsterbutjavaisnttoomainstreamforme

Seriously though, how does this look? It gets rid of the eye-blowing amount of contrast it had before.

I like it, I don't see why people say it looks bad. Maybe make it just slightly a darker shade of red, but IMO it looks nice as is.
