Each time a flag is clicked, the template for the data of the big white flag is fetched through an AJAX request and displayed. Madness!

TODO: polishing and no-js experience. Because I really feel for blind people.

It's actually a modified version of CuteNews, which is no longer an active project. I like it for sites that probably won't ever see high volumes of visitors at any given time, and because it's incredibly easy to work with.

Not being able to do left/right with arrow keys in the number entry can be a bit annoying, especially if you're used to correcting like that

After you have a good understanding of normal JS, try learning jQuery. Great time saver.

I sent out an updated curriculum last Friday, and now I've got at least one interview for every day of this week, with the record being three on Wednesday, most of them for a senior position at just a couple of days short of turning 22*. Feels good.

* Had trouble remembering how old I was for second, had to do some math relative to my girlfriend's age to figure it out. Gosh.

Is it okay, SEO wise, to have the title (in h1 tags) of an image logo hidden somewhere in the page so that a search engine can index it?

I heard google frowns upon hidden content used to give a SEO advantage to the page, but this is merely a way for search engines to understand what the page is about since they pretty much can't read text written on images.

Haha, well you were right and that's what really matters. The kerning is terrible, the descenders on the Qs look goofy and the lower case t is clumsy and out of place. It's a bad font.

When one of the flags to the side is clicked, it extends and shows its content:

To make that work with an image I'd have to do an absolutely clumsy mess of absolute positioning and stuff like that. It's kinda harsh.

Anyway, since the <title> tag of the page is the same as what the logo says, I guess it will do just fine, right?
