I just started publicly beta testing my Minecraft clone using WebGL. This is borderline web development, but since that awesome TF 2 viewer was posted on here, I'll go ahead and post my project here as well.

You can try it out here.
Apart from glMatrix and socket.io, everything was written from scratch by me. It only depends on HTML 5 technology and requires no plugins like Java or Flash to function. Both the client and the server mostly use the same code, which is made possibly by the Node.js platform. It can currently handle maps up to 128x128x16 blocks, because it always networks and renders the entire map. This has proven to be quite smooth, though.
Since this WAYWO stuff seems to be pretty popular, I'll try it out:
Heres the deal, the Live Messenger has this ultra stupid bullshit feature called Sharing. So whenever someone sends a Youtube link or Image or any media that MSN accepts, it will automatically resize your conversation window and displays it, even when I send it to the person.
So what does someone like me that understands reverse engineering?
Materials get applied automatically now (I was hard coding them before)
It's a huge pain though because there's a list of material directories and a list of texture names but no way to find out which material name is in which directory. So I have to loop through the directories and see if the material exists, very lame.

I can make a fast parse for usefuls if you'd like. It does mean more highlights for those who got the ratings, upon Yogurt's admission to the OP.
Why is it easier to convert Skyrim's music files into wavs than it is to convert wavs into mp3s?

more highlights is never a bad thing.
Today I finally got some inspiration to work on that little game I made a dev log for; I'll make the video once I have the time. Overall, I made the code somewhat readable (maybe over-commented), added a main menu, and made it pretty.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/o1xcc.png[/img_thumb]
It still isn't much, but I'm proud of it. Also, just realized that I didn't add in my substitute for aabb collisions. Here's a link for anybody interested: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/44304747/ZScreen/2011-12/PhysicsJJB.zip
Wait.. I made it to the highlights with Naarkie's program?

Although I'm still learning Python, I would just like to say Happy New Years to WAYWO! Great time just reading about all this programming magic even if I'm not that great at it.

Getting the basics done in OpenGl. (Borrowed the texture from the superbible source.) (Also, its at a weird angle because its rotating.)
I've never done anything directly with OpenGL or DirectX on the low level end, so every time I see people drawing 3D primitives, I pretty much consider it the best thing ever.
I should try it out some time.

Shouldn't you consider it the worst thing ever? Since, if you only used high level libraries, youcan make a primitive with a couple of lines of code.
I think it's good to know though, it expresses a level of understanding that most people like me (who use high level graphic stuff often), may take for granted.
[editline]31st December 2011[/editline]
Oh man, oh man. I'm using a modified version of highlights.lua to dump the most notable posts in LMAO Pics v99. Instead of dumping the top 25 of each rating, I'm doing the top 100 just because it's gonna take so long to parse it all the way through till now, it's like why not do a ridiculously high number anyway.
Once it's done gathering the sorted posts, it'll dump it all to lmaopicsgreatesthits2011.txt.
It's at page 209 right now. I don't think there's a need to share the posts, this is mainly for me right now.
Love primitives? Than you'll love this:

Wouldn't actually take all that much to turn into one.
