We could do another game contest, but this time a proper one.
I don't have anything I could give as a prize but I could handle the contest as I have a lot of free time.
And maybe we could have random themes with that LD theme randomizer.
I think the only prize should be a nice pat on the back.

Monthly is still to frequent in my eyes.
I think a week is too long.
I though the whole point was to see what you could do in 2 days. But I suppose more people would do it if it was a week.

on the flip side themes cause limitations, limitations cause creativity, if you go in without a preconceived idea you should be able to cook up something good.

Themes also act like a password. If there's no theme, someone could easily submit something they've spent weeks on, and claim it's a 48 hour creation

I like the idea of having a theme. One of the most aggravating parts of non-themed competitions is having to come up with a good idea.
