Zero. I only seriously started with C++ in August lol.
$1200 on just one of my flash games $500 on the last website I made Roughly $200 a year on random computer stuff for people
I've been releasing under nothing but WTFPL.
Me too :fuckyou: (even though I don't code much anyway) I've probably made <200€ from (poor :frown:) webdesign
I was supposed to get $50 some years ago, from a large Flash collaboration, but my parents didn't care "risking their bank accounts online". fffff
Programming in Game Maker won me an Ipod. Parttime scripting in PHP (web) / VBscript (non-web) earned me a few thousand euros past year.
Well it has helped keep me self unemployed. :|
About £750 in the past year.
£0.00 I program for the sake of programming, its just a fun time killer for me...
£0, wish I could make some though :(
So far, 70$ for one project.
Probably over 10k. Me and a few friends made 2k off the last project we did for a local company.
About £600 this year.
So many liars/exaggerators in this thread.
People can't be employed at a software development job and post on FP? Back on track, I've made $0. But I suppose that's one of the pains of working entirely on open source software. The only "payment" I truly enjoy more than money is just to know that someone found something I made useful to them. [editline]09:32PM[/editline] Triple post due to very reliable server.
Well, if I'm lucky enough to win the fretta contest, either $5000, $2000 or $1000 :v:
well when i finish uni and get a job, basic wage is over £20,000 ish :)
Same here dawg. When I finish Uni I will have been using C++ for ~ 7 years. Crazy shit.

I got two boxes of chocolate, two old depleted soviet Orion batteries, and few KM of magnetic tape for helping some guys :(
$200 for winning best student in one of my programming units but that's it.
vb at college? what a fail college and waste of money
nah it wasn't my main module, it was a side module we did. most of it was business and e-commerce.
nah it wasn't my main module, it was a side module we did. most of it was business and e-commerce.
E-commerce with VB... :v:
E-commerce with VB... :v:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASP.NET Plus BASIC derivitives are used a lot in business.
vb at college? what a fail college and waste of money
Hey, I'm doing VB for my computing AS. But it's ok, I've been doing C++ since I was 11. I'm immune to Visual Basic's grasp. In related postings, Does anyone have any tips on how to make money from your programming skills (I'm Good at C++ and fairly decent at PHP, I can do web design if pushed and I'm alright at the following: Javascript Lua Python C# VB)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASP.NET Plus BASIC derivitives are used a lot in business.
I'm well aware of that. Just after using Java and C++ it makes me laugh about using VB. :smug:
Teaching the most in-demand language for new jobs? Crazy talk!
About $1000 for two month, but it's from hardware programming/designing (custom FPGAs and that kind of stuff)
