Well, Apple is known for overpricing everything. Which is why unknown developers really dislike the apple store, because if you fall under the ranks, you'll be wasting a lot of money keeping your app on the store.
Why the hell not?
Does it support lua in any way?
Maybe I will finally start making my incredible indie game.

You can integrate Lua, but you probably need Pro to do it.
Are we allowed to publish commercial games to Android/iOS with this license?
Grabbed a key for Android and iOS, dunno if I'll ever use the iOS one but why not. Thanks for the tip!

I believe so, just only up to some amount, but at that point you'll be able to buy the Pro licence with no problems.
I'd say even if you are gonna buy the pro version get the free key first, itll be a helluva lot cheaper to upgrade

Why would it need pro for lua integration? You have full access to the C# language and if you have Visual Studio installed, all the .NET stuff, you can bind lua all you want with the free version.
This is great! Now I can finally write Android apps without having to use Java, and while still using C#! ~PERFECTO~
Yes indeed, I've been wanting to make a particle sandbox thing for my android device but Java was putting me off :v:
Thanks for this find!
Is anyone else having difficulty getting it to get a response for activation? It's been at "Waiting for response" for a while now...
Since I hate java this will be good.
And if Unity turns out to be good I might even make something on the PC for it.

Just repeatedly press F5 until it works, their servers are struggling with all the visits.

It's great, and even though it's not commonly known it has some basic OpenGL binding and their own functions to draw geometry, in case you want to dynamically generate terrain, etc.

I'm past the website, now I'm trying to register it. I'll keep retrying, though.
...Now the question is weather to use this or keep learning normal Android.
I suppose I can't actually put it on the iOS device without a mac right, like Unreal Engine 3?
But cool none the less, unfortunately my Android is massively underpowered so :v:.

You can build the mac version from the Windows Unity so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to build the iOS version the same way, as for android you need to have the Android SDK installed because Unity asks for it upon building, and you need to use some namespace standards, but that's all.

Its against the apple TOS to implement scripting languages into ios apps. :v:
(Unless it changed)

it's not against their TOS as long as all of it comes pre-packaged with the app itself

I've never tried using Lua with the free version, so I wouldn't have a clue. :v:
I've always been thinking about making a mobile game in the future (after my current project), and i was willing to pay for a license.
The licenses being free at the moment makes things a whole lot easier for me :v:.
However...is this a real offer or some glitch? Seems too good to be true.

It's a real offer.
I have no idea what I'm doing
Any good tutorials for Unity?

Taking a look at the demo projects is a great way to learn, I don't know about any other tutorials though.

I'm pretty sure that you are free to publish them until you reach a certain income limit. After that you need to buy PRO
