Made a few changes... don't have much time to work on it lately. Anything I should change? Title is just something made up will change. Registration will change probably, make a step by step process where the user can subscribe to games during the registration. And include a short tutorial at the end.
Should I code my own forum or should I get a free one and pretty much completely rework it? Most free forum software comes with user registration, profile pages etc. But I will make that separately anyway. I think it might take more time to customize a forum then make one myself.

If you know what your doing then do it, but only if you know what your doing, reason being there's not really many good forum softwares, even the paid ones.
Made a start making my own forum. It's not much for now because I barley had time to work on it. And does anyone have any name suggestions? I want to make a decent title/logo but have no idea what I should call it... Was thinking about tuxedogaming but it might be hard to remember.
I still want more criticizing... it helps so much.

The top nav bar and account stuff should be fixed on the screen and float as the user scrolls down. That way the user always has access to important actions. Kinda like what facebook does with their top bar.
Something about the whole design just feels off. Idk. Anyone else feel like there's something clashing? Idk. I feels almost like different themes fighting for dominance.
The 7 digit display for the logo feels wrong, in addition to the chrome slider, and the charcoal background and blue gradient navbar all of these seem to clash.
For instance. there is nothing connecting the blue in the nav bar at the top with the rest of the site. When the slider is in it's expanded form, there's nothing segregating it from the navbar, and it feels plain weird. And the logo seems almost behind the content, as if the logo is on a table and you threw papers on top of it. Just my 2 cents
Logo is just a placeholder, I can't make anything yet if I don't know how to name it. And got any suggestions for the nav bar and slider?
The thing with the nav and slider is that they appear on every page. And not every page is as dark as the homepage. If you look at the [URL="http://gc.microskip.com/settings.php"]settings page[/URL] you will see it's very bright. It's hard to make the nav bar and slider fit with both.
Registered people can now create threads and reply to threads! Aww yeah! Now to work on the design and display all the stuff, such as date posted, username of the poster, delete reply option, etc, etc.
Feeling good about it. Don't know why I even considered using opensource forum software. This is damn fun to make. Design is gonna be a pain tho.
For the lazy people...

Still want your criticism.

Way too much whitespace in your content area.
That white/gray gradient is fuckugly.
What do you guys think of the forum so far?
[img]http://tuxedogaming.com/bigass.jpg[/img]
Working on topic view right now.
Is it important to show thread views? I personally never look at that but I guess some might. Should I add it or leave it?
Month in development and still nothing finished. I should really stick to something and get over it.
-Homepage-
Upcoming sponsored events (Can't do that until I actually implement events)
Top rated players (Kinda useless to do until player profiles are done)
-Events-
Nothing yet...
-Game pages-
Nothing yet...
-Forum-
Need to be able to edit posts.
Create proper icons for the forums.
Current thread limit is 50 per forum. Rest will need to be visible in an archive (can still be bumped and posted in).
No limit on posts in a thread. Need to make it possible to have multiple pages in a thread with a limit of 30 posts per page.
-Playerlist-
Need to be able to sort players, search players and give it a proper layout. Also pages with 100 players per page.
-Registering-
Need proper register form with email confirmation etc.
-Settings-
Can't be finished until profiles are done.
-Messages-
Few bugfixes, show more information, Diffrent design.
-Player profiles-
Pretty much everything...
-And everything else-
When I see how much there is left I get angry because I already spend a month on it and I'm not even halfway there.
I like keep track of projects like this, it's nice to see them keep shape, so don't stop working on it. ;)
Everything is broken right now because I'm "fixing" all my queries... getting rid of all the stupid files I made like uploadavatar.php, changename.php, changepassword.php, etc. Everything will be placed in one file now and error messages will be displayed without having to reload the page.
fixing:
[B]DONE - [/B]Create thread
[B]DONE - [/B]Reply to thread
[B]DONE - [/B]Edit reply
[B]DONE - [/B]Send Message
[B]DONE - [/B]Change Password
[B]CANT DO[/B]Upload Avatar
[B]DONE - [/B]Register
[B]The error messages appear in the sliding panel for now and there is no refresh after a successful query. So please don't spamclick and fill my database with crap. [/B]
It's nice. Like you say lots of bugs. Like you sign in and its grey, then you click forums or something and it's black.
I really like the forums. I like it all. Would be nice to see all this come together and have a proper use.
Not sure on tuxedo gaming, but thats your call!

Anyone feel like giving feedback on: [url]http://tuxedogaming.com/register.php[/url]
It think it's pretty much "done".

Slight nitpicking, the f in "Confirm" looks really weird, not much you can do about that I guess.

It's the font. I kinda like it actually.

yeah it doesn't look right. I think you should change it to another font.
Forum is done! I can't think of anything that needs to be made. Maybe add a few more bbcode options like quote. But that is done in no time and not gonna think too much about that until everything else is done.
It's an easy to use forum with no bullshit that no one uses. If anyone can think of anything that needs to be changed/added please let me know.
The logo should always link back to the homepage and the boards in the forums aren't centred properly (they are floating to the left with no margin which gives the right side a solid 15-20px margin, looks weird).
fix'd
Made the basics for the gamepages. Need to figure something out for the titles in the top left because they don't seem to fit...

Done. Didn't even think about it while it is so easy, was just copy pasting some code.
And for some weird ass reason my slider works in IE now... guess they did an update.
