Have you guys realized we have a 'Programming king' rating now? WOAH I wonder if there are more in different subforums. :tinfoil: [editline]04:51PM[/editline] Have you guys realized we have a 'Programming king' rating now? I'm working on an engine making engine that can make engines in real time full true colour. It will also have a console.

Since Facepunch was down I experienced a huge spike in productivity and added batch processing to my YouTube to MP3 downloader. I can now add just add URLs or search terms to a text file and run the program and it will automatically search, download and start conversion of every entry and names it appropriately.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqz5dbs5zmo another one bites the dust
would result in Cool Guys Don't Look At Explosions.mp3 and Queen - 'Another One Bites the Dust'.mp3 In case someone wants it: http://goo.gl/ggE5

[editline]11:31PM[/editline] Whatever happened to my avater :| I hope I can find it somewhere.. probably gonna have to make a new one. As soon as compwhizii explains the Facepunch API to me, I'll start working on an Android app for Facepunch. In the meanwhile, I'll be adding simple text drawing to my framework using a texture below. I don't know who posted this, but thanks!
Android app for Facepunch.
Isn't Hexxeh doing this??
Isn't Hexxeh doing this??
Not sure, I thought he just compiles stuff.
nice self rating bro
Isn't Hexxeh doing this??
He's doing the iPhone version right now. He said he's going to make an Android version too, but why wait?

Wowwwww. At least there's automerge. inb4 this is posted 18 times
Just starting C++ and wanted to try out SFML. Terribly coded, but it works, and hell I'm proud of it. [editline]11:17PM[/editline] Oh and low framerate is because I forgot to set fraps to record at a higher rate. [editline]11:18PM[/editline] Oh dear you can still rate yourself.
How does WAYWO feel about using void pointers to transfer data?
I'm sure void pointers can be avoided in C++, but they're effectively the only way of passing generic data in C and I've never had a problem with them.
The new listing of ratings is so useful, "thank you" r4nk_.
Finger slipped :smug:
I decided to use them... ( The video doesn't show off much, and is only really a test to see if I don't sound like an idiot if/when I upload videos for more interesting things.)
Yeahhh that is not good bro You really have no reason to void* cast there, and it's a really bad system because what you end up with is just a huge amount of void*'s in your 'globals' list and the user must remember what kind of data that variable is. If you really want to store dissimilar types in a list together check out this instead: http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_43_0/doc/html/any.html
Wow bubblesort takes .54 of a second on an average case while insertionsort takes only .17 on average. In Lua, all localized variables, as optimized as I can get it without changing the algorithm. Those numbers are on randomized data sets using os.time() as a seed with a size of 1000.
Finger slipped :smug:
Can't do that thing with jallen anymore :v: EDIT: wtf why the dumbs?

I just turned it on, I have a feeling I might need to keep it on over night :V [editline]10:19PM[/editline] Fuck this bubblesort is going to take approximately 150 hours on an average case of 1,000,000 values. I don't have that kind of time. [editline]10:23PM[/editline] Hmm I was just thinking it'd be really cool to have a "sort this extremely large set of data the fastest" competition.
boost::any can't be put into std::vector or stdext::hash_map :(
