What's the song for the avatar video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvnMML2LFqs
They seem to slow down and speed up, however that might just be the gif.
It's the gears, if you look closely at the big one, I accidentally left a bit of a gap between the big one's teeth and the one next to it. [editline]2nd May 2012[/editline] Pause it around 0:17 to see the gap
Oh god, what have I done.
Remaking an old game salmonmarine and I did a year or so ago. Still a lot of work to do...
I don't think I'm in the avatar video :C Nevermind I'm in there for about a frame
I don't think I'm in the avatar video :C Nevermind I'm in there for about a frame
aw yeah
I peed a little when I confirmed I was in the vid.
I had no strong feelings one way or the other.
I added double-tap dashing to my platformer Wow, I have... 4 projects going at once A platformer An assemblyish language A roguelike A modloader for Mari0
[vid] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45471126/Planets.webm [/vid] So that took a while to do.

Using the trig I've learned over the past couple of weeks (late to the party ). Just a timer. [vid]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34571219/trig_01.webmvp8.webm[/vid] AND A RADAR!
[vid] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45471126/Planets.webm [/vid] So that took a while to do.
The way the moon is orbiting look odd, as in it should orbit counter-clockwise.
I think it's just that it should be rotating faster?
After working on my own camera in processing I decided to try to fix my collision system and some how I break something else.
[vid] http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45471126/Planets.webm [/vid] So that took a while to do.
The moon should be orbiting about 9 times faster than that.
[vid]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45471126/Planets3.webm[/vid] I think everything is right for the most part now. The orbits were in the wrong direction and the scales are wrong because the sun is really big. The moon orbits around the Earth about 13 times a year, which is what is shown.
So I added block placement :3 Still not added DDA for the intersections, I'm just taking the hit ray back a step and using that block. Also, my terrible wood texture.

Highlights

Speaking of path tracing, I did a small path tracer a while ago:

Now just wait a hot second- null get's a highlight for something he reposted from several threads ago, which was in reference to something I was working on? you actually had to edit my picture out of his post to do that I'll remember this, turb. No one makes a fool out the guy with the fleshlight avatar

You have made an enemy in me, sir! No seriously I just thought it was odd/funny, no hard feelings :)
i was just going by whatever looked cool in fp_images
That leaves out any webm videos people posted :( Though I guess that makes the front page less of a CPU killer.

The moon orbits around the Earth about 13 times a year, which is what is shown.
The moon is actually locked facing the Earth, so if ever you invent objects themselves rotating, not just orbiting, keep a note of that. Also if it interests you, it'd be really cool if you made it to scale, then just zoomed out a lot. You wouldn't be able to see the planets well, though. But hard sci-fi rocks. I like space.
The Orbit of the Moon is Convex.
That makes sense, I forgot the Earth was spinning.
