Red X turns in to a green checkmark if there are no uncommitted changes to the git repo.
Looks awesome, can I get the config for that?

Now you have to create an array of them.

I recognize the Gentoo prompt anywhere.
Because I use it even though I don't use Gentoo anymore. (It's Fedora (and ZSH))

The quote at the top is just fortune. It's not part of the prompt, it's just run once at the end of my .zshrc. It'd be super annoying to have as part of PS1
casey@fedorabox ~ % echo $PS1
%B%F{green}%n@%m%k %B%F{blue}%1~ %# %b%f%k
I used to have a function in there that would get a git branch name if you were in a repo, but I don't use anymore.

Yeah, I want to steal some of that too. The X and checkmark for git sounds super valuable.

OP is using a Mac.
I'm currently using the 'candy' theme from oh-my-zsh (with git and vm-mode plugins)

Btw, does anyone know of any good fonts that support utf-8 and unicode entirely?

I would have posted my server or raspberry pi, but that's just boring.
Not particularly inspired, but it gets the job done.

I generally put a different colour on the brackets for each host I port it to
