God you are a idiot. People use 1&1 and the other huge hosting companies for many reasons. I myself would want a host that has been around for years - and sadly, other then the big giants there are very few hosting companies that have been around for over seven years.

It doesn't matter if they are "bad" or "good". People can decide that for themselves and then decide if they want to stay with the host or not.
At least they know without a doubt that the host won't fold in on itself at some point with no warning - especially if they do annual billing cycles.
