position now stored as a vector, interpolation now working with vectors, and I think my friend just finished vector-based SAT collision. We just need to get the player to start stopping when they hit a block now, that's broken for some reason
[img_thumb]http://localhostr.com/file/0rLFDe2/Capture3.PNG[/img_thumb] New map and tileset (I stitched the level together).
With media that simple, it would be cooler to generate it on the fly. That is if it's not just placeholder art. If it is placeholder art then it looks good.

Anyone ever tried this? It's basically Google Wave inside VS for collaborative editing. http://www.wave-vs.net/
-no, wait, it still doesn't work-

I wasted my time cobbling together a multimethod library for D before realizing I'd have to break down the type to store it and then magically reconstruct it in the same class to invoke it :saddowns:
Anyone else notice the "I can't do maths" link to a forum thread has SUDDENLY disappeared MYSTERIOUSLY? :smug:
Oh hey my hilarious post is right below that first link.
Oh hey my hilarious post is right below that first link.
Hey Maurice, not sure if you're the one that was doing the Rock Band clone. But if it was you, any progress or anything new with it?
The guy who I am working with (Don't wanna say any names) can't get the midi timing right and I decided not to work on it because it's getting less and less likely that he'll manage to do it. I'd help him or something but I'm too lazy and I'm pretty sure it's not his stupidity's fault. Also I have asked my artist friend to draw a "HD" SMB Mario. He hasn't responded yet so I am afraid he is drawing one. Oh god.
Anyone else notice the "I can't do maths" link to a forum thread has SUDDENLY disappeared MYSTERIOUSLY? :smug:
Because Changing the post to saying "fuck you pro ruby dev" probably got you banned and it deleted, not very mature though and shows why you have that title really. [editline]19/01/2011[/editline] Personally I do not know if is a shit coder or not, however that sort of juvenile behaviour shown there, and here before does not help opinions.

I know there are some collaborative notepad application which could be used for programming, but this looks very promising. I think it's a shame Google Wave was discontinued as it had potential as shown here. Altough, I don't think they really discontinued it, I thought they had released some sort of API if I recall correctly. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] Found it: http://googlewavedev.blogspot.com/2010/09/wave-open-source-next-steps-wave-in-box.html

Also as you point out they are setting up a side project in Apache Foundation "Wave in a Box" that is the a open-source alike Google Wave product.

Finally got my python downloader multiprocess! And it only took 2 rewrites :downsgun:. More importantly, the user's script only has to add one line to indicate being done: The console outputs a lot of debug data which I'll have to remove, but making it multiprocess more than halves the download time for these 16 images. It also contains a lot of convenience - if the user script attempts to evaluate any of the return values, they are prioritized by the system and it locks the main process. If the user script only passes around values to internal functions, though, then it all queues up without locking the main process. Next steps are resumable downloads and reimplementing the queuerange function.

Programming a game for Android Phone, came to xml parser, [lua] String tagname=xpp.getName(); if(tagname!="Map") throw new Exception("Not a level file, or corrupted"); [/lua] exception gets triggered everytime, yet when I debug, the debugger says tagname=="Map" , yet the comparison still goes through to exception. I hate Java.
I don't think you are a shit coder.
"I like to post in Web Dev even though I'm a huge moron" Great minds think alike.
Is this what you're working on or what title does that guy have
No operator overloading in Java. [cpp]if(!tagname.equals("Map"))[/cpp]
you have got to be kidding me, so you can not compare a String to a "" ? I rememeber why I avoided Android for so long again now.
Yes, you can. But not via ==, because == compares references and you cannot overload operators in Java, thus you overload the equals-method to do comparisons.
Yes, you can.
