Meh, going back to the old detection then. (uh. I lost it. gotta rewrite)
It's just weird because I have no problems.
Edit: Alright, redownload and tell me if it works now.
Weird bug here. Every time the game starts, after a while it just makes a sound like a gunshot, starts playing the game-over music, the blocks all fall down and when they're gone it's game over.
What do you mean "after a while"?
You should add a way to restart the game or go back to the main menu while playing.
1.4: added a way to restart the game or go back to the main menu while playing. (escape)
I repacked the .love file so I could run it on linux
it used up all my RAM
Reminds me of this:

Someone made that.

Physics aren't as good in that though :D
Is there any particular strategy for this?
Is there any particular strategy for this?
Try to stack them without leaving any space I guess. Pretty much like real tetris!
Edit: Added a version without sound because it isn't working for some. And I hope it's not my fault.
Can someone please tell me what their experience with any sound problem is? I can't recreate it.
Went to record video to show the problem->Problem fixed itself?

That's a problem that occurs often in quantum physics, and a lot of my projects. When they're monitored they start behaving like they're supposed to.

Didn't it not work for you too?
Didn't it not work for you too?
At first, with the previous version. Now it works fine.
It bugs out sometimes, like blocks will go back to the top and it will keep looping sounds.
holding down crashes it and if you stack them badly it'll play the landing sound constantly
Edit: Strange can't get it to crash again
It wont work for me.
Highest score I could get was 30.

This game is TORTURE man :byodood:
Haha this is awesome fun. Did you plan to make that pacman one suggested in WAYWO?
It hurts me to play this.
And I can't stop.

That game ended with me at 3100.
I try to start it up, and all I get is a blank white screen with a black cursor.

I really can't help you there.
Did you compile it yourself?
Are you running a weird OS?
Do you have the included .dlls too?
It wont work for me.
That's useful information.
And the soundbug thing: I had a few times too now. I really can't find the reason. I'll keep looking. Also expect Not Tetris 2 with actual line clearing and super cool cutting pieces in the future (or not).
Crashes immediately on Win7 64 bit.

Not for me it doesn't.
For me neither.
Sorry guys, I just can't seem to help you.
It seems to be a löve issue. (the engine)
31 on my second attempt, great game bro. to bad that sound fucks up.
My OCD does not like this game.
My highscore so far is 32. Got that two times or so I think
This game is really fun but when you rotate the blocks, why do they keep spinning?
My high score was 32 and then it crashed.
This game is really fun but when you rotate the blocks, why do they keep spinning?
Making it challenging.
I actually had a stop rotation key (up) but it made it kind of blunt.
My high score was 32 and then it crashed.
What'd you do?
edit: 36 blocks :)

To me, this sometimes just happens right before the "game over" screen.
