You're just using a reseller account, your services are only as good as theirs. I used high end hosting, but if you wanna sell to your target audience at least make your site look good, and actually function.
I feel that you really have problems.
Instead of your 'next-to-shit-quality' posting in this thread you try it out instead of flaming. Have you ever run anything like this?
@compwhizii: We don't oversell our diskspace. Therefor 999GB. If you would hit that we re-allocate your account to a new disk.
Op give me unlim and I'll pay $5/month k
Op give me unlim and I'll pay $5/month k
As I told you, we don't oversell our servers. I can however get you a custom quote if you contact our livechat.

So which one is it? :colbert:
Guys its in the [cloud]
Yeah, as cloud helps us be more energy efficient.
Yeah, as cloud helps us be more energy efficient.
uh
uh
Instead of buying more physical hardware we invest in virtual hardware.
Trolling aside guys, heres some info if anyones interested.

Hello mr apple, my name is HostingBlast, how may I help you?
mr apple 6:33:49 PM
Hi, I was told to contact your live support for a custom quote of unlimited band & upload.
HostingBlast 6:34:10 PM
We don't oversell our servers
mr apple 6:34:19 PM
I was told I could receive a custom quote.
HostingBlast 6:34:20 PM
but we can sell you the reseller package (without resale rights) for $5
mr apple 6:34:36 PM
How is that a reseller package if it has no resale rights.
HostingBlast 6:35:26 PM
Well, it would have the things the reseller pack offers only without WHM.
Same space, etc
mr apple 6:35:38 PM
Elaborate on the package details please.
HostingBlast 6:35:54 PM
999GB disk space and 999GB bandwidth
unlimited cpaddons
like e-mail.
mr apple 6:37:02 PM
Why is mostly everything in 9? I feel fooled how it's appearing to be 'cheaper' of sorts from 1000GB.
HostingBlast 6:37:42 PM
If you want to we can give you the following:
1TB disk
1TB bandwidth
unlimited addons
mr apple 6:37:54 PM
That's more appealing.
HostingBlast 6:38:02 PM
For $5
mr apple 6:38:12 PM
Few questions first.
Whats your usual up-time?
HostingBlast 6:38:25 PM
Ok.
mr apple 6:38:33 PM
Do you have maintenance?
HostingBlast 6:38:38 PM
Currently our uptime is 100%
Our usual uptime is 99,75%
mr apple 6:38:46 PM
You appear to be a new company, where do you see it going in 3 - 5 months.
HostingBlast 6:38:52 PM
Only for server upgrades
mr apple 6:39:01 PM
How long do downtimes commence?
HostingBlast 6:39:10 PM
15 mins
Sadly, I cannot see in the future. But we can currently pay our servers and don't run any loss.
mr apple 6:40:31 PM
Alright.
HostingBlast 6:40:51 PM
Would you like me to create your custom package?
mr apple 6:41:29 PM
Not right now, I have a bank account tied to my paypal, so it usually takes 3 - 5 days for money to transfer.
However I have one last question; how long do packages usually take to setup?
HostingBlast 6:41:46 PM
Ok
They're instant.

Trolling aside guys, heres some info if anyones interested.
I don't see anything wrong with that support query?
Instead of buying more physical hardware we invest in virtual hardware.
Virtual hardware is just physical hardware in a cluster that partitions itself for each virtual server, so you aren't being any more energy efficient.

Rate me boxes if I'm wrong.

Someone besides Chulo Arco.
I don't see anything wrong with that support query?
I don't think he is trying to show bad things, I think he is just letting people who read this thread that you are able to keep your servers up and can be flexible with your packages. I could be wrong though.

Thanks :)
I don't see anything wrong with that support query?
uh, me neither? I was providing extra details about your service.
uh, me neither? I was providing extra details about your service.
I'm sorry that I picked that up wrongly.
I don't see anything wrong with that support query?
Exactly what he means by "trolling aside". There's no trolling or cockdickery in that.

I see.
Well thanks for telling me ;)
Thats...really cheap hosting o_o.

We try to do our best
Instead of buying more physical hardware we invest in virtual hardware.
Except virtual hardware has a greater overhead.
I'm just reading this as "we can't afford dedicated servers, so we cheaped out on some $5 per month VPS"

A $5 VPS would never be able to run cPanel. Cloud on the other hand is very pricy

That's 4GB of ram and a quad core Xeon.
'Cloud' is pricy because only idiots with too much money buy into it. FYI, cloud servers are glorified VPSes
You're a reseller correct?
'Cloud' is pricy because only idiots with too much money buy into it. FYI, cloud servers are glorified VPSes
They're not even particularly glorified. Sensationalised, perhaps. They make a big fucking deal about being able to customise your package using a slider panel instead of contacting support.
A $5 VPS would never be able to run cPanel. Cloud on the other hand is very pricy
I beg to differ. I pay $4 to host my stuff, and it can run cPanel quite nicely. I tried it with another of the same product a while ago.
Yeah, as cloud helps us be more energy efficient.
"Mommy wont give us enough money for a dedicated server. "
You're a reseller correct?
No we are not.
Qombat, a $4 VPS would NEVER have enough diskspace.
No we are not.

You know you can get Cpanel for a VPS right? It's called Cpanel VPS Optimized, IIRC.
No we are not.

You'd be surprised.
You'd be surprised.
You guys are like eight.

There's your proof
Not VPS optimized
Not a reseller (root)
Not a reseller (hostname)
You guys are eight.
