What a bad troll... moving on...
rage quit, you have no valid points left.
As a wise man once said:
whats the point of replying if all youre going to do is deflect?

As a wise man once said:
its not deflecting if its right as white. also lol nerd stalking my posts, mad
its not deflecting if its right as white.
We've criticised your code, and you haven't rebutted it at all. You've just attacked /us/. I don't know what your game is, but we're not trying to attack your or call you a bad programmer. We just want code to work properly, and to help people learn and to be taught if we a fortunate.
also lol nerd stalking my posts, mad
Amazing that I'd have the mind to check if you were a troll.
Jesus guys just ignore/report hayburner and post WAYWO. A page full of these posts is a wasted page. [editline]30th August 2012[/editline] Look, completely original door artwork. It's animated, too!
I thought the house fire simulator was pretty good
sniff huh sniff sniff Oh yes that smell That smell, that spirit of WAYWO. Almost whole page of delicous arguing not to be a dick myself, here is some bandwagony semi-content:

I've had to custom fit my card with a huge fan from a power-supply unit and a copper heat-sink I had somewhere after the original one melted. It's currently stable at 50-62 celsius. It used to hit 107c before I did that.

Looks really nice, love the colors!
i wrote a method overload thingy in ruby for fun: http://exec.charlie.bz/293 the idea is that you can write a method like this:
overloadable :my_method do on String do |str| puts "Hello #{str}" end on [] do |ary| puts "Hello to all of you: #{ary.join ", "}" end on name: String, greeting: String do |opts| puts "#{opts[:greeting]} #{opts[:name]}!" end end
and then these calls will be dispatched accordingly:
my_method "Charlie" my_method ["Homer", "Marge", "Bart", "Lisa"] my_method greeting: "Howdy", name: "Partner"

Do you guys know if it's efficient to use a bunch of rendertargets/framebuffers for GUI panels and only re-rendering them when something changed?
It's what I do, I've had no performance issues yet.
Do you have any issues regarding alpha values or blending in general? I can't seem to render a simple image using a framebuffer without all transparent pixels going to shit, depending on what color I clear with.
Yes, today is the day I do 3D. Stay tuned for inevitable hilarious failure. [editline]31st August 2012[/editline] whoa fuck no this is too hard
The door artwork is from Space Station 13.
Yes that is the joke.
Oh, I'm retarded.
TEST MAH GAEM Run tolkytest.jar. Assuming you can run it (tell me if you can't, with system specs) these are the controls: WASD - move F - attack E - use TAB - inventory I - add knives to inventory B - spawn bat Click on items in your inventory to use/equip them. Explore! (there isn't much to explore) Don't die in the cave or you'll be sent to the void. It's a feature. Knife in inventory is changing direction while walking and attacking.
Knife in inventory is changing direction while walking and attacking.
Oh yeah, I know how to fix that. Thanks!
I don't think we've had an argument like that for a few WAYWOs now.

[editline]31st August 2012[/editline] Comment, rate, subscribe, etc.
It would be nice to see some screen shots or videos with it rather then just a link to a jar file (giving there is a java exploit going around right now)
It would be nice to see some screen shots or videos with it rather then just a link to a jar file (giving there is a java exploit going around right now)
The Java exploit only applies to the Java browser plugins, not to the desktop executables.

Added a penguin crusader picture: The blue lines are my new Bat flocking algorithm. Works perfectly, only now for some reason using your weapon prevents anything other than the map from rendering. v:v:v

I wish I'll be able to do stuff like this when I get further into programming.
Funny as hell! You deserve a amazing cookie, keep up the work! I wish I'll be able to do stuff like this when I get further into programming.
Thanks! Have a heart. <3 In other news, this is the weirdest bug I have ever encountered. Firing your weapon sometimes disables drawing of everything except map elements and bloodspatters for something like 20 seconds. If all the bloodspatters on screen expire then it all comes back. It only started happening after I finished my flocking algorithm, and I've found three or four completely unrelated lines of code (bat hitboxes, projectile creation, etc.) that prevent it when commented out. None of this makes any sense oh god
I fixed all the warnings. There were over two hundred of them. Mostly potential data-losses. I'm redoing the graphics of the UI. Looks like this right now: [thumb]http://pasteboard.s3.amazonaws.com/images/1346436467559343.png[/thumb] Should look like this eventually: [thumb]http://pasteboard.s3.amazonaws.com/images/1346436512788025.png[/thumb] Also, I scrapped my framebuffer-code. Previously, I had every menu drawn to their own buffer and then the controller would draw all the framebuffers. However, I had so much trouble with blending (made a thread on here) that I decided to scrap it and just live without the fancy effects that a framebuffer brings. :(
Remade the level editor so perhaps I'll actually carry on making levels now. I'm particularly proud of the linking stuff, it was a pain. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL3Fdq7GZDE[/hd]
Is Rotion on the greenlight thing already
I continued working on my app a bit, but something feels off about the design. Help!
I continued working on my app a bit, but something feels off about the design. Help!
It's the side margins probably.
It's all in german, that's what's wrong
