No, why?
No, why?
I think it'd be pretty obvious to someone who is of average mental capacity. Its ok if you have some sort of mental condition, just wondering.

Wow, way to be a dick. Maybe it's time for you to go back to 56.

Honestly, you don't have to get offended. I was just asking a simple question. I mean its not like my curiosity is unfounded.
Is everyone in this thread mentally handicapped?
This exact question poped into my head as I was reading this thread.
This exact question poped into my head as I was reading this thread.
Right? Its interesting too because it also begs the question: Can a mentally handicapped person be a programmer? The degree of the mental impairment would have to be mild but still prevalent.
I'd also like to take this time to arbitrarily state that Java is just so cool, I love it. This in no way relates to Mr. Fap which is not coded in java. Fun fact: Mr. Fap was coded in Brainfuck which further adds to why this application is significant past its obvious appealing features.
Thanks to eXeC64 for the script and SilenceIsDefeat.com for the shell, I am now playing a completely zero-player game 24/7 with someone else's CPU. I feel so accomplished.
Right? Its interesting too because it also begs the question: Can a mentally handicapped person be a programmer? I mean technically Java isn't a traditional programming language so... perhaps?
There are a lot of forms of mental handicap. Some people have been turned into mathmatical genius'. You're just projecting your personal stereotypes onto everyone else. I guess it's your self-defense mechanism for dealing with insecurities.

Ooh, I had been looking for a good place to get a cheapish/free shell for this. Good to know that someone else is benefitting from my client.

I think your own post applies to yourself.

Well, s/he has posted in this thread, so yes, even by his/her own words :P
There are a lot of forms of mental handicap. Some people have been turned into mathmatical genius'.
I'll give you that. So are you insinuating that, while the author posses elevated mathematical capacity or perhaps logic skills, he suffers from inferior abstract reasoning capacities? If so, I agree fully.
You're just projecting your personal stereotypes onto everyone else. I guess it's your self-defense mechanism for dealing with insecurities.
If you felt I was implying any sort of stereotype surly you misinterpreted my comment, perhaps your judgment was skewed by your own preconceived notions? Either way it couldn't possible be a self-defense mechanism considering I had nothing to be defend against.

Oh please. I have no issues with java, but you cannot argue that there is not a fundamental difference in many of the programming paradigms of java compared to a language that is directly converted to machine code like C, Delphi, ect.
Regardless, in the context of this thread I meant to point out Java is a bit easier to use than most programming languages particularly because of its object oriented nature, lack of pointer management, and lack of direct memory management. Not to mention the large amount of prepackaged libraries that come with it.

your sense of humor is laughable.
your sense of humor is laughable.
I didn't say it was funny to me personally, i said it's a comedic game
I didn't say it was funny to me personally, i said it's a comedic game
So then why do you like it.

It's a high-level language, abstracting all those low-level features.
Kinda like C and Delphi abstract the processor instructions behind keywords. For example, usually no need to manually assign registers, push and pop the stack. Accessing struct data is made available via member variables.
It seems you assume C and Delphi are traditional programming languages, though you don't need to manually do this stuff, just like you don't need to manually care about deallocating heap memory in Java.
Besides, Java does not normally compile to a .NET binary (though you could probably make it to), so I highly doubt that Java was used.
A comedic game that's not funny? That's laughable as well.
That's just your opinion mang.
So then why do you like it.
You don't have to find something funny to like it.

Are you always so ready to engage in off-topic arguments? Besides, you didn't really even speak against anything I said, you just stated some irrelevant facts. So... I agree with you? Unless your intent was to educate me, in which case, I know these things already.
You don't have to find something funny to like it.
Rather than making painfully abstract statements, why don't you tell me; why do you like it?
You totally sound like someone that doesn't see the point in games or entertainment in general.
If people like it then they think it's good. Noting forcing you to use it.
Also, saying "Are you always so ready to engage in off-topic arguments?" is kinda dumb since you are the one that came in this thread asking if everyone is mentally retarded... (totally on topic there)

I play minecraft for hours on end, nuff said.

How is that relevant to anything? It sounds like you're too afraid to say why you like this "game". Do you even know?

A question that could easily be answer with a single post any yet has not been. What my question implies is indeed relevant to the topic of this post. It's a sarcastic and asinine way of asking: why the hell are you spending time on this?
It sounds like you're too afraid to say why you like this "game". Do you even know?
For the same reason people play WoW for hours on end. It's strangely addictive but you can't justify why. I can see that you're just in here to disrupt the conversation and troll so I'm adding you to my ignore list now. I recommend others do the same.

Nope. Besides, you started. And yes, my intent was to educate you. I thought you had a lesser view of Java.
You seemed not to notice that Java is unlikely to be the used language. Though I think C# was used and it is comparable to Java in 'high-levelness'.
It still eludes me why you are such a prick, that is if it is not just for the sake of being a prick.
Honestly, my two cents: Who spends time on a game called Mr. Fap, an application where you just sit there and watch a number increase over time with literally no keyboard input required, and then goes on to add achievements, online play, and scoreboards? Its just a stupid joke that people are to embarrassed to admit they find funny. Its sad because it seems like some 12 year old's idea of a joke but the OP is probably like 18.

First, I said you sound like that kind of person. Since I don't know you I can't say if you are (and apparently you are not)
Secondly, I never said I liked it. I don't even play it and I don't see the point of wasting time on it. Yet, you don't see my posts accusing people of being mentally retarded for liking/playing it.
Third, if you seriously expect people to answer Is everyone mentally retarded with something like "I like it because it's competitive" instead of getting insulted, you really lack conversational skills.
Do you even know?
I don't play it, but I'd guess for the competition and for some the fun of making alternative programs for this. Being part of the community probably as well.

They want to win. For some it justifies wasting time on it, for others it provides motivation to develop alternative clients that will allow them to win more easily.
