I just gave you a couple of good reasons why I think people like it a few posts above and I know why I don't particularly like it so how is that different from you and football?

uhhh are you dumb Mr. Fap is essentially just a meter for uptime of your box. this is why people like it. it is a sense of idle competition you can let run in the background without bothering it, and be semi-competetive with others without any sort of real emotionally moving competition. It's just fun to say "LOOK! My number's higher than yours!" For that same reason "levels" in video games exist. It just shows how much you've played that video game. Except, this is based off system uptime. That's why it is fun. Comparing yourself to others. Getting a "high score". In some games leveling up is crucial, but on the other hand you can sometimes be way over the level you're supposed to be at that point.

Video games have complexity, progression, and achievement that is brought on by some sort of effort. Players can get ahead of other players by using some sort of skill whether it be aiming, positioning, and predicting other players in an FPS, building your character and planning out your time allocation and strategy in an MMO, or perfecting your own strategy and formula and quick thinking skills in an RTS. Maybe its just exploring the complex and immersive worlds that are full of diverse experiences and unpredictable happenings in an RPG. All these game types and genres share a fundamental difference to Mr. Fap and in that difference lies why they are found commonly addictive and why Mr. Fap is only found addictive to those who have mental handicaps. (intuitively of course, no extensive research to back me up but I feel like I could do such research if I had the time) Can you spot that difference or must I spell it out?
