Need a Designer / Front-end Developer ($300-$1500 Project)

I'll update this thread as needed.

Basically, I need someone to finish the design for the internal pages and slice it into nice HTML/CSS. I'm willing to pay between $300-$1500. Pay will depend on skill level and design quality as well as time to complete and thoroughness.

This website is for all types of meme comics and will run off a system similar to Troll Science except everything will be much much prettier and work a lot better.

Sorry if they are hard to read, if you're wondering what something says let me know and I'll blow it up.

I don't have time to do much more than the programming so this would be a pretty hands off process. I'd just give you a bunch of frameworks/sketches and you'd have creative reign. I'm thinking of holding a little bit of a design contest to choose a designer with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place prize with the winner getting the task of designing the inner pages as well (for pay of course).

jQuery experience would be nice but its more of an added bonus than a requirement. All I really need is someone who can design it and then cut their own designs. The more time you put into it and the more time you spend coming up with good ideas for it etc, the more I will pay.

Post below if you're interested with links to your portfolio etc. Also, and almost as important, I need someone who is willing to spend 20 hours a week on this for a few weeks (obviously that kind of dedication will warrant more $$$). I want to have this all launched sometime in May so the faster it can be done (and still be good quality) the more I'm willing to pay.

If multiple people would like to collaborate, I'd be willing to up the pay bracket to $2000 but I would expect consistent designs and overall higher caliber work.

It's a mockup of half of the homepage. I need 8-10 internal pages designed. I'm a really slow designer and would rather pay someone else who could do it quicker than me. I also really don't like cutting designs into HTML/CSS as I did nothing but cutting for 40 hours/week for 3 summers in a row.

I'd prefer just to work on server architecture and programming as it's all I have time for and it's a lot harder to hire someone to do that and match your exact specifications.

I would like to have a couple people working on it together. In that case, I would pay a bit more.

However, my only reason for this is because it sounded like you were pretty busy Jaybuz and wouldn't have a lot of time to work on it.

That's what I was thinking, problem is HTML tag and design consistency. If I have different people designing/cutting different pages, I need some way to make sure everything is consistent between them.

I've got 4-5 people interested right now. I'm honestly not sure who to go with as you're all pretty talented designers. My original idea was having a contest to design a single internal page with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize (like $100, $75, $50). The winner would get the job to do the other pages as well then.
