Hehe, I found a guy on the OSDev forums who is exactly like nullsquared. He's also the same guy behind that Losethos thing.

It's scary how similar his writing style is.
This is not a amateur operating system. I was a paid operating system developer for
Ticketmaster at age 20 in 1990 and have worked on this full-time for 7.7 years. Unlike Linux
which is, technically, just a kernel, LoseThos includes a complete tool-chain -- 64-bit
kernel, 64-bit compiler, assembler, editor, graphics library, document framework and tools
such as grep and merge. It never executes code I did not write except a couple BIOS calls
during boot. However, it has no networking and with no protections, will crash on bugs or
misuse.

LoseThos is like nothing else -- I wrote all of it, entirely from scratch, including the
compiler/assembler. We're not in Kansas any longer -- I changed the language. See
Language Differences from C/C++. No point doing an operating system if it's not different and
better.
Also, major contradiction right here:
6) The LoseThos operating system will be free. I might sell applications,
support, or, possibly, adware.
7) LoseThos will be 100% open source with all source included, unless device
drivers or something can only be included with non-disclosure agreements.
Also I'm looking for a C++ book since Game Maker is shit, which is best?
This: http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Game-Programming-Tom-Miller/dp/0672326612
or this? http://www.amazon.com/Accelerated-C-Practical-Programming-Example/dp/020170353X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1302272406&sr=8-1
I've learned the basics and drew a spaceship on a window with SFML, but that's really not enough even to make a todo application :saddowns:

He's also a nutjob (yes, he actually has some sort of mental disorder). He believes god speaks through some random music generator he wrote.

Should I add a slight shadow or leave it as is?
It's a maya plugin btw.
What is it you ask? FUCKING FLOWFIELD PATHFINDING
I have yet to find a good example of how to actually do pathfinding with flow fields, did you use a specific resource or?
Spent the past few days hacking away at the OpenTTD networking protocol, and it's coming along nicely.
The protocol is really well documented, but way outdated so it does more harm than good.

are you autistic?
This is WAYWO, autism is practically a prerequisite to posting
Damn, no I'm not autistic. But it's kinda fucked to "funny" at an autistic guy. If I knew ulillillia I'd give that bro a hug.
Where is nullsquared from anyways?
It seems to me that most social pariahs on the internet are people who have poor social skills and aren't very good at expressing themselves in or interpreting English.
You've got to be a weird and or terrible and or disgusting person to be unlikable on the internet.

rumor has it that he's not autistic but actually has a very severe form of ocd.
I wanted to practice C++ programming so I made this brainfuck interpreter. You give it one command line argument, the name of the file to parse. It actually "compiles" it into a code which is then executed in another method. Is this a generally accepted way of writing an interpreter?

How does OCD account for like... all this mind game stuff? There's more than OCD going on there.
