[QUOTE=r4nk_;29128308]Some of the [I]QUALITY[/I] code from the main games project this semester. We have to work on a continuous project which has been through maybe 5 iterations from other students. It's a driving simulator. Anyway onto why I hate this fucking code base: <code snip> So we are loading the AI car information from the file AICars.ai hey.. I see... well then lets just check whats going on in this function... <code snip> Another, I MEAN COME ON <code snip>[/QUOTE] So basically it's memory leak central? Nice.
[QUOTE=esalaka;29129084]I need to get some money to get the new bundle, I have none on PayPal or anything :frown:[/QUOTE] Sent you a gift code by PM.
[QUOTE=Robber;29128837]Frozenbyte's Jack Claw was just open sourced: [url]http://www.humblebundle.com/[/url][/QUOTE] [img]http://gyazo.com/fda5a433903e14dccf63b7a9ba5c97f3.png[/img] Thanks for reminding me about this. Also, I only just found out you could register them on Steam. Awesome.
Anyone wanna buy me a bundle? I have no credit card :frown:
I got a gift code for the bundle and I want to give it away to someone. I need some random way to get a winner though.
Lets see, how could you find a random guy on a forum ? (pick the one below you)
No i'm probably gonna do: Whoever helps me with my question in the question megathread, and it actually works, get's the code.

Hearts, hearts everywhere. [QUOTE=Richy19;29129434]HOly crapp new indie bundle, anyone wanna be a doll and buy me it?[/QUOTE] I would, but I just gave my second (and last) key to iNova. :3:
[QUOTE=Richy19;29129434]HOly crapp new indie bundle, anyone wanna be a doll and buy me it?[/QUOTE] Seriously you can buy it for $0.01 and you are still asking people to buy it for you? Not that I'm saying it's a good thing to pay only that much for it.
curse my lack of credit card ownership!
I'll still be giving it away here: [url]http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1078139-Humble-Frozenbyte-Bundle-key-giveaway[/url]! When this contest is over, I will have 5 cents remaining on my paypal account, so I will have 5 more Bundles to give out. I'm such a greedy bastard, buying the game for 0.01$...
[QUOTE=Jallen;29129633]Seriously you can buy it for $0.01 and you are still asking people to buy it for you? Not that I'm saying it's a good thing to pay only that much for it.[/QUOTE] Thts why Id rather ask see if some can spare $2 than pay $0.01

[QUOTE=Ltp0wer;29129725]it'd be cooler if you gave out 1 copy that you bought for 5 cents than 5 copies for 1 cent.[/QUOTE] Honestly, when you're talking about such a small amount of money I think the developers would rather 5 people played their games rather than 1.
[QUOTE=Jallen;29129633]Seriously you can buy it for $0.01 and you are still asking people to buy it for you? Not that I'm saying it's a good thing to pay only that much for it.[/QUOTE] I paid $1 for esalaka's gift key.
[QUOTE=Overv;29129171]Sent you a gift code by PM.[/QUOTE] [img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7995419/haveallthehearts.png[/img] [editline]12th April 2011[/editline] [QUOTE=Overv;29129788]I paid $1 for esalaka's gift key.[/QUOTE] Well crap you just made me feel bad :v: I would've paid more. [QUOTE=jA_cOp;29130199]You can upgrade your payment with more money. At least you were able to do that with the old bundles.[/QUOTE] The problem was I didn't have any money in the first place, though.
[QUOTE=esalaka;29130236]The problem was I didn't have any money in the first place, though.[/QUOTE] Indeed, but you could play now, and donate later if/when you get money within... 2 weeks?
[QUOTE=jA_cOp;29130298]Indeed, but you could play now, and donate later if/when you get money within... 2 weeks?[/QUOTE] He could also upgrade his payment after the sale is over.
[QUOTE=benjojo;29124336]Does anyone have any really good documentation on the Chip-8 VM?[/QUOTE] [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHIP-8[/url]
I'm making a cli todo program for linux so I can keep track of shit. It's going to have an ncurses mode for actually manipulating the todo list, and I'll be able to just type todos in a console to see what needs to be done. It'll store descriptions, due dates, and priority, and keep a record of changes made so that I can see how effectively I'm keeping up with my goals. It's way early in development right now. So far I've gotten the data structure up and running. My next couple projects will be to write a routine to store all the data structures to a file and figure out how to check the system calendar against a due date to see whether I need to notify the user. The file i/o stuff will be easy, I'm just going to keep an array of pointers to structs and write each of them to a file successively, and then build the array back up from the file when I need to load it. I haven't messed with time much so I'll be googling for that one.
Does anyone know what language the Jack Claw source code(from the [url=www.humblebundle.com]humble bundle[/url]) is in?
[QUOTE=AyeGill;29131784]Does anyone know what language the Jack Claw source code(from the [url=www.humblebundle.com]humble bundle[/url]) is in?[/QUOTE] It's C++.
[QUOTE=r4nk_;29128540]I am fixing it. The point is that its old shitty misleading and confusing code. Not only should the first guy who changed this have updated it properly instead of being a lazy cunt but the code block has clearly been reviewed at least twice and no one has cleaned up the problems yet even though they are definitely aware of it.[/QUOTE] Ah, good luck. I have a hard enough time maintaining code I've written in the past.
