Hey, I don't have Portal! Or any other Steam game. I'm poor :smith:
Guess you missed when it was free last May.
SNES, but close enough.
are you using the hqx.exe you can download from google code? I cant get any of mine to look that good
Ok I am proud of myself for once now: [sp]I accidentally didn't save my other black and white code so I had to re-write it (while pulling hair out of my head) and it's much better, as you can see![/sp]
Hey, even Tumblr use else if else if else if! http://www.neowin.net/news/mistyped-tag-leads-to-exposure-of-tumblr-db-passwords-and-api-keys

"Tumblr pushed a changeset to production (in /var/www/apps/tumblr/config/config.php) that lead to every page starting with "i?php" instead of "<"?php". Underneath was the includes of all scripts, ranging from the database passwords, to how database servers are taken out of production (commenting out of strings in arrays) to how new postids are assigned (there's a central webservice), to how sharding is done (if ------>30000 then else if $userid > 60000 then etc.) to all the API credentials used by tumblr scripts:"
ugh wow
quark, Is the black and white image a modification of the rainbow face or source image?
It's all done in the application, it modifies the current image.
So I saw that oscillator music video Notch tweeted about and it inspired me to try and make my own. So I did. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/671088/oscillofun.love (you need LÖVE) If the audio and the visualisation is messed up, restart it.
I was messing around in the Cortex Command console, and figured out that I can load libraries included in Lua for Windows! :downs: They may have disabled os and io, but I have System :science:
I was messing around in the Cortex Command console, and figured out that I can load libraries included in Lua for Windows! :downs: They may have disabled os and io, but I have System :science:
i doubt theres much you can do to it with lua
Well, I can write my own file loading system. (Uhoh, one post to 1000. What should I do? :ohdear: I know, I'll release my present to WAYWO!)
Let's see it
So I saw that oscillator music video Notch tweeted about and it inspired me to try and make my own. So I did. I've tried using the latest version and the previous version of LÖVE (just because).
Enlarge some NES game sprites or something :3:
Before: http://imgur.com/OHQI1.png After: http://imgur.com/vAa7p.png And, uh, this awesome game: http://imgur.com/CYvlD.png thelinx: It worked here, but it took ages to start. Probably what happened to BlkDucky.
Crashes every time for me. I've tried using the latest version and the previous version of LÖVE (just because).
It also crashes for me.
Crashes every time for me. I've tried using the latest version and the previous version of LÖVE (just because).
That's odd. What OS are you on?
Crashes every time for me. I've tried using the latest version and the previous version of LÖVE (just because).
You need to wait like a minute before it works.
Oh, no wait. Nevermind. I left it for a couple of minutes like Overv said and it started working as I was typing this message. :v: Why's the loading time so long, anyway?
Why's the loading time so long, anyway?
Because it needs to load the song as a SoundData so I can getSample, which means it loads an entire song into RAM memory. That takes a while.
ah ok, waiting a minute solved the problem, amazing work!
Here comes the Gravy Train! (requires love) It's a train! My goal was to fill it with all of the users of WAYWO, an emote to represent them, and a quote, but i let my posts get away from me. So this is it for now, but eventually, it'll be interesting.
23 * 45 * (27 / (\"apple pie\" + (12 * 2) ) ) * a <= func( 12 == 8 ) infix 1035 27 "apple pie24" / * a * func False () <= RPN
Just found out that .net 4 added HttpWebRequest.Host which allows you to set the host header yourself. Then I find out that Mono 2.10.1 doesn't have it :\. Can't even use reflection to hack it in because it generates the header using the uri right before submitting.
Because it needs to load the song as a SoundData so I can getSample, which means it loads an entire song into RAM memory. That takes a while.
Just thought i would mention that on my computer running ubuntu it loads instantly, no waiting time at all :smug:
Just thought i would mention that on my computer running ubuntu it loads instantly, no waiting time at all :smug:
Just thought i would mention that on my computer running windows 7 i can play games, no wine at all
Try this? [img_thumb]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_9A-CPJHZyPM/TN-cAuBduoI/AAAAAAAAADk/9X2a8pXf2dY/s1600/-cancelled--20070321014127735.jpg[/img_thumb]
OH dear God, that game was the best game in the history of the goddamn universe.
What game is it?
I still don't have portal :( Only played it at a friend once, almost made it to the end but I still haven't finished it. If someone is still in a gifty mood I'd like one (quaternions) [editline]20th March 2011[/editline]
What game is it?
I second this, it looks awesome
Just thought i would mention that on my computer running windows 7 i can play games, no wine at all
I make my own games
Just thought i would mention that on my computer running windows 7 i can play games, no wine at all
I just use VMware with a windows install, most games work fine. The GTAs do, at least. Though performance really drops off at higher resolutions. [editline]20th March 2011[/editline]
I make my own games
I would do this but I lack motivation :saddowns:
Oh my god why is it so hard to make a sepia image in C# I'm running out of hair to pull out and I'm not going below the waist
