hi chad mobile
How do you guys make these conclusions of alts? Just curious because I would of never guessed that... Then again, it took me a while to determine that turb__ was an alt of turb. Edit: Yeah, it does sound pretty funny, but unfortunately I was stumped for about half an hour. I thought it was someone pretending to be turb. :P

Just remade my Mandelbrot drawer in Java. It's really nice how easy applets are.
Batallion now supports user accounts! A bit pointless seeing as it still doesn't actually DO anything yet, but this will probably be my main concentration for a while.
Also, anyone remember this? [img_thumb]http://i33.tinypic.com/2d7wyyr.png[/img_thumb] Someone should make a new version with more people on it :v:
If you look at around page 50, I tried :v: Of course, it's a new version of it, with a train I drew myself pulling carts with bouncing passengers.

I finalyed added encrypted file support to my libary, I made a really bad mistake, i spent 3 hours searching for why the file was not decrypting and turns out I had never encrypted it.
I finalyed added encrypted file support to my libary, I made a really bad mistake, i spent 3 hours searching for why the file was not decrypting and turns out I had never encrypted it.
Feels like shit, doesn't it?
I'm too tired to form a coherent explanation as I usually do, so I'll just leave you with a sentence and a picture for now. We got the art done for the UI, not all of it is shown here but I'll get that done tomorrow probably.
needs some art direction. [editline]editline[/editline] to the people rating disagree: why? there's no color scheme (it's a random assortment of rather ugly colors), the outlines colors are inconsistent (darker/lighter than fill, solid black), and the clouds are upscaled 2x for some reason (the reflection doesn't even match). and tbh, that focus effect looks rather tacky. ac/2 executed it pretty well assuming it's supposed to be similar to eagle vision. you can always go for something a little bit more original (and doesn't give a massive advantage).
Yeah, you're right - our artstyle IS a bit inconsistent. The blur is also a bit iffy (as it's a 90% blur so there's at least SOME sense of visibility). But keep in mind this is all WIP. We can change the sprites as we please. Also, if you guys know a guy who can animate pixely sprites, tell him/her to get in touch with me. You can reach me at contact@TomiToikka.com.
Woah, is it just me or is WAYWO exploding with content?
I remember someone posting a todo program they made in an old WAYWO, I was wondering if anyone remembers it and if they had a download? It'd be really handy to get organised.
Well, nothing visual or interesting but my language is almost working completely.
argumenti = "fn", "str" funkcijaJedan = function argumenti { fn(str) } ispis = function ("st"){ ConsoleOutput(str) } funkcijaJedan(ispis, "testing")
Sorry for Croatian names. What you can see here is array making, function making using that array and a code block, a function that takes a function as a parameter, function calling and a function that interfaces with .NET. It's like a crossbreed between JS and my horrible imagination :D [editline]26th March 2011[/editline] Oh and naturally, the output is "testing"
Woah, is it just me or is WAYWO exploding with content?
I decided to waltz in after lurking this thread and saw no content.

Wrote an IRCbot that grabs the current song from spotify and responds to a user when asked about it.
I remember someone posting a todo program they made in an old WAYWO, I was wondering if anyone remembers it and if they had a download? It'd be really handy to get organised.
Seconded. Todo Freely doesn't work for me and the one I'm using at the moment inhales dick.

I wasn't joking when I said I was going to make it work.

Working on rpg maker games. Not the PS/2 ones.
Working on rpg maker games. Not the PS/2 ones.
I have that still. RPG Maker for the PSX/One.

Had a problem attempting to write a string to a binary file. If anyone wants to help: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5442826/writing-a-string-to-file-in-binary-mode
I have that still. RPG Maker for the PSX/One.
I always stuck with RPG200/3 though. I never seen RPG Maker PS in stores. But bad luck for me to have no tv. The big crapped up long ago, and the small one recently died. So my ps2 is just sitting around for no reason. But I can still buy a tv soon enough.
Lasers :pcgaming: As you can see, they don't damage the player yet... Going to implement that right now.

Anyone remember the mac terminal replacement that looked like a terminal? Well because that was for mac and cost money I decided to start coding my own. I just got this shitty glow effect working, needs some tweaking but it works okay. Not sure how I am going to do scan lines but I got tackle input and then wrap the text handling into a class so I can stream the output from command prompt to it. Edit: Actually scan lines are easy, never mind!
Looks like a Fallout 3 terminal.
