I haven't found anything better than consolas yet - maybe [URL="http://levien.com/type/myfonts/inconsolata.html"]inconsolata[/URL] but that's it.
Fonts like the dejavu fonts always seem to take up more space horizontaly.

I hate having to read long lines as you can tell from my posts :v:

I guess I'll stick with Consolas. I've been using it for so long I felt like trying something else. I like Inconsolata but it looks like crap at any size that isn't 12px.

On OSX Inconsolata, Monaco and Menlo are all good fonts. I use Menlo myself.
