Can anyone recommend me a smooth and pleasing-to-look-at programming font?
Can anyone recommend me a smooth and pleasing-to-look-at programming font?
Since you're on Windows, Consolas.
droid sans mono master-race
Consolas everywhere
COMIC SANS MS BEST FONT YES No srs, consolas 4 lyf yo.
I haven't found anything better than consolas yet - maybe inconsolata but that's it. Fonts like the dejavu fonts always seem to take up more space horizontaly. I hate having to read long lines as you can tell from my posts :v: Edit: I use this piece of code to compare fonts - paste it a few times into wordpad, select it, and mess with the font settings
int main(int *argc, char**argv) { printf("Hello: [#name1]\n"); return (1>2 && 'A'!=1 || 0<6); } /* d@y .:;, 3*-=+~ [{(Ay)}] */ // 17!li 0OCQD 8BE 5S$ 6G KX HM UVW 9qg
Edit2: Inconsolata looks like shit at 8px :/

I stumbled across Anonymous Pro some time ago and I just love it. http://www.ms-studio.com/FontSales/anonymouspro.html
I guess I'll stick with Consolas. I've been using it for so long I felt like trying something else. I like Inconsolata but it looks like crap at any size that isn't 12px.
I've used Adobe's Source Code Pro for some time now, and I like it.
I use inconsolata on OSX and I love it.
I use inconsolata on OSX and I love it.
On OSX Inconsolata, Monaco and Menlo are all good fonts. I use Menlo myself.
Inconsolata-g is my personal favourite.
Talking about Fonts, is it possible to change the Font in Eclipse? I've been unable to find any options for it. Although I could just give it a Google.
Is there any way to remove installed extensions in Eclipse? :downs:
Is there any way to remove installed extensions in Eclipse? :downs:
Remove them from eclipse\plugins [editline]16th January 2013[/editline]
Nah man, why would you ever need that?
I don't know man, maybe he doesn't want android debug buttons IN HIS FUCKING C++ PERSPECTIVE
Accidentally ticked a box for C++ (I think) testing while installing a plugin for Java testing (required by college). I dunno how to get rid of it :( [editline]16th January 2013[/editline]
Remove them from eclipse\plugins [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] I don't know man, maybe he doesn't want android debug buttons IN HIS FUCKING C++ PERSPECTIVE
Thanks! Why do they provide this fancy plugin install thing and not a way to easily remove them again..
eclipse\plugins [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] I don't know man, maybe he doesn't want android debug buttons IN HIS FUCKING C++ PERSPECTIVE
Maybe he wanted to ask this question in the "What do you need help with?" Section. Huh, ever think about that? Didn't think so! You don't know everything dad. Why do you always do this to me, I'm a grown man, leave me alone! [editline]33rd Apocolytember 9999[/editline] Do you guys often find you have itty bitty bugs that you can't solve quickly?
