True... But it's already different for every architecture anyway.

The latest (iirc) commercial quantum computer has a Python API. I'll see if I can dig up the company and model.

That doesn't really have much to do with the quantum computer's native assembly language. Chances are the Python code is run on an external traditional processor and there's some hardware interface between that and the quantum processor.

Seems to have a C++ API too
Added online leaderboards to Open Hexagon. They work with every level (even custom ones).

Also, I hate PHP.

I'm pretty sure they extremely similar to each other if you compare it with the difference with quantum computers.

Yeah well, I don't have the money to test it out, but I can see why you're likely right about that.

So satisfying
Which rock did you just crawl out from? Because last time I checked Mono is pretty feature complete.
I never said it wasn't. Fact remains that the MS implementation is the reference one, and companies have no reason to rely on Mono when they can rely on .NET, so Mono will always be a second class citizen no matter how good it actually is. Obviously every time MS open sources part of .NET, you can consider the Mono version functionally equivalent, and that's good for everyone.
Do you reckon C# is on it's way out or something?
There has been some hints that it might, but no, I do not.
I can't see that happening
People with no foresight are the ones who get hurt by this kind of things. So be careful.
Working on a CSV styled database I/O system to learn the basics of C++.

Nothing really special to show yet.
Made some changes to allow for connectionless players on the server (bots) gave them some simple AI.

They probably wont be kept in the game but it allows me to test situations with lots of players, it really highlights what needs fixing next.

Man those bots are ruthless
Man those bots are ruthless
I wanted them to shout randomly generated insults over the voice chat but I decided it would be a waste of time.
That would make it so much more immersive
Hey laylay, sorry to ask because I'm sure its been said many many times but is this running on the source engine?
Because if its not that's pretty amazing to have it look and play like that.

Quantum computing and python.. It's like an oxymoron, with how slow python is.

Not at all? It's the same as when you use native modules in interpreted/running-on-VM code to enhance performance.

You're trolling, right?
If not, then no, it's a custom engine.
Except that in this case it actually enhances performance

This is so true. I helped my sister set up a Win98 VM for games today and everything installs in 1-2 seconds max.
I mean, the graphics were worse, but not that much.
close to finishing my first game. it's godawful and simple, but god damnit, I love it anyway:

I'm using unity. I have an extremely tenuous grasp on javascript, but for something I made in 5 days of work, I'm happy.
the premise: you're an extra on a shitty low-budget b-movie horror film. tragically, the actor playing the main monster experienced an accident on set and is now deceased. his angry ghost has decided to haunt the set, and in an attempt to salvage the film, you've now been hired to kill him again while being filmed.
Next week I will buy a MATLAB Book :D. It has 620 pages, I guess. I'm sure there's a lot of things to show with this number of pages.
I'm trying to make a fault tolerant RTMP decoder. The more I work on this and the more beer I drink I realize that this was a bad idea to start this project, but I'm in a state of semi drunken stubbornness where I WLL MAKE THIS WORK.I really admire the Wireshark developers, they make thinks look so easy.

Should be able to handle this >60fps but I'm doing everything so sloppy right now.
I should probably convert dr kleiner or something for the player model. Would be more fun to look at.

Added the ability to define the collision box and position relevant to the object. For objects that do this and are not defined as above the player by default, it dynamically decides whether to render above or below the player.
I though I could solve this at the packet level. I was wrong, RTMP doesn't care about packets.
[editline]10th March 2013[/editline]
But I think I know what I have to do. If I encounter missing packets I should just skip ahead until the next keyframe.
But that is work for tomorrow when I am less inebriated.
Someone is requesting a scorekeeping app for various games such as baseball, soccer, rugby, etc.

Everything was terribly made in GIMP, except the baseball graphic which is until either I make my own or contract the graphics out to someone. Font is Calibri which I still need to figure out if IOS and/or Android supports. I imagine there is a way to pack the fonts.
