Just curious, why are you using divs for tabular data? Use tables for tabular data.
Just curious, why are you using divs for tabular data? Use tables for tabular data.
I suppose it makes sense for this kind of stuff. Quite annoying to loop through and add tr's though
I like the Century Gothic font type.
woah history.pushstate has gotten a lot friendlier, implemented it in no time! non-intrusive fast clicking!

I'm making a little wordpress-powered blog to write about programming and engineering etc. Would love some feedback on the layout/colour scheme and that kind of thing! Anything to make it look nicer, really. http://thingsiamdoing.com/

We're just not all that experienced when it comes to migration services, as we rarely ever receive these types of transfer requests. So, to apologize for our lack of proper support services, as well as our mixed messages regarding the way the transfer should be handled, we'd like to offer you a one-time account credit of $23.80 USD. (equivalent to 4 months of Jester's Plan hosting, essentially making the account 'free' for 4 months)
DoRoyal, holy damn that's a great deal :v:
http://bildunginmedienberufen.de/~h.walker/ As a part of my school education I've been working on my very own homepage for the past few weeks. I'm obviously fairly new to all of this, so any suggestion on what to do better/change?(Some of the stuff on the website is for learning reasons, etc. pp) Also, I'm German and as I said, it's part of my education so the website's also in German.(Which shouldn't really play a role, as I'm not asking for an opinion on my writing skills, but at my web design skills)
It's good for a start, but a lot of stuff is just plain wrong. The about me section should be just a few details about you, propably your "skills" and a few things you like. Not stuff like that you're a gamer or that you get up each day at an hour where others go to sleep. Then that background selecting usually just confuses people, I'd rather not use images at all for backgrounds, atleast not such huge ones. Not everyone has a decent internet connection. I mean, I got a 20mbps connection and still the images loaded after I clicked them...
Built my first HTML/JS application recently: [t]http://i.imgur.com/tSAa4Er.png[/t] It basically just retrieves information from the Twitch API so the user can see who is currently streaming. It was built for Firefox OS and is currently on the Firefox Marketplace, but I might host it separately or release it for other devices too.
Awesome. I just got a ZTE Open and was looking for a twitch app. I should really get into developing in HTML5 myself, actually.
I almost forgot how much I hate Magento. Yesterday my local dev setup worked fine. Today I can't log in to the admin panel at all because it randomly decided it can't set cookies for some reason. Yesterday I also found out that magento's default CSV export works great, but that it can't even import the CSV files it exports because it doesn't support CSV importing for some of the BUILT IN product types. I want to fuck whoever made that decision with a rake.
Been working on my Portfolio, don't have to much to show but this is what I've got so far. I might have to prof read it but I will do it later. If any of you got any suggestions of how to improve it I am listening. Shadows look waaaay too strong.
I've started making a web based point and click game: http://www.stormatree.co.uk/rare/ No path finding yet, but the basic movement mechanics are there. [editline]Edited:[/editline] Path finding's in now, but it's a bit rough around the edges.
Shadows look waaaay too strong.
What I tried to do is make it look like it has some depth.
What I tried to do is make it look like it has some depth.
You can totally do that without making the shadows so dark. Take them back so they're like 10% of what they are now and it'll look way better and still have some depth.
