I think that he means it all looks great until you get past the pictures, then it just looks like a bunch of text mashed together.
Perhaps a bigger font, and don't mash text around as much it would look a lot cleaner. :)

If you ask me maybe a bigger font and reduce the columns where the text is placed would significantly improve the looks of the site, it would be a more scroll-like site but I can see from the design that's what you are aiming for. :)

Not sure if you wanted any feedback on the site I can barely see the text on the [B]my account settings[/B] page which says "leave it blank if you don't want to change it" and "we need your current password to confirm your changes" it could be my monitor just being too bright but it's like white on white for me.

For some reason it reminds me of the default page in ASP.NET MVC 4. I still have nightmares from having to work with it. It doesn't really look the same but for some reason I instantly thought of it.

Thanks! Spent quite a bit of time playing with the color palette last night and tweaked it a little more this morning. Pretty happy with how that part came out :)

[I]Settings -> Devloper -> Responsive view.[/I] for example.

I saw this on my laptop on a minimised screen and noticed it was mobile friendly. Now I go on it on my mobile to try it out and it's not mobile friendly. Either you have changed it or you need to change your media queries. Looked nice but seemed a bit generic. I like the concept aswell.

While I'm doing the comments update I want to add a more long-form section for project descriptions and want to make all the longer text fields on the site use markdown (comments, project descriptions, updates, etc) so people can actually make their project pages pretty.

Definitely going to go over and double check everything on mobile soon. I know there's a few spots where things don't respond properly, although most stuff [I]should[/I] work.

I just do rough testing by resizing my window in chrome and then do a final test on-device. I don't really think special browsers are needed for responsive design (and firefox has gradually gotten shittier which makes me hesitant to jump on more mozilla stuff right now)

Chrome does have a device emulator built in, with touch stuff and everything.
f12 -> settings -> overrides -> tick show emulation view
Then there is a kind of arrow/3 line icon next to settings this opens up a new console and options. Emulation has loads of options for stuff.
Look out for gestures, apple made them not work with ios 7 though you can override them but it takes a little work to rebuild scrolling.

Also add a gallery icon option so you can have some sort of grif that contains an image with the name of the project and a small description under it.

Just a suggestion but it would be amazing if the comments can be on the content itself as well. Much like how soundclound does it.

That's one of the next things I want to do. The comment system is pretty flexible, so it'll be easy to add them to other things now that the first round is done.
Can creatorhuddle have a favicon? so I can add to my bookmark :v:
