I made a wordpress theme because I was bored also, vanity domain because Wynaut.
http://brax.sexy/ that sexy domain sure comes in handy
[t]http://i.imgur.com/iHxTr7W.png[/t] Took me less than two days (this does include standing up and walking around like an idiot) to make this. Might think of doing it open-source and not within that forum software dependency. Need to do a better stock flow model, then trades.
The other day I filmed myself creating a Facebook phisher in less than 10 minutes. I was planning on releasing the video but Camtasia Studio wasn't working and kept crashing when I started it, so I just left it. Then yesterday, I tried getting on my site to be confronted by a Lithium Hosting website suspended page. So I talked to the support guy and he said it was because of this phishing site, and he'd get back to me about getting my site back. About a day passed and I got an email telling me "Upon examination of the content used in this phishing / website forgery incident, we have decided to terminate your account." I cried after that response. Every line of code (web wise) that I have written in the past 3 years is gone, with no hope of getting it back, all because of a stupid fucking phisher site. So I might not be posting here in a while. :(
Rule #1 of computers. Back up everything that you don't want to lose. Do you not keep local copies of your projects or use source control and have them on github/bitbucket?
I feel sorry for you, but you should seriously have local backups of things.

...so yeah. I'm actually a bit teary right now.
Added HN/DN/reddit inspired link sharing to creatorhuddle.com :)
How I feel every time I have to write about my project
Well I never expected a share crash and burn THAT hard. :v: [t] http://i.imgur.com/gElYXzU.png[/t]

Sure, ban my account, my fault for leaving it on. But deleting all my data without warning... Come on
Updated my old "Gary Oak'd" site. http://c1yd3i.com/oak
Just wrote a short little article about the null object pattern as I implemented it on a client site a couple weeks ago: http://creatorhuddle.com/articles/2

Come on
I once forgot to renew my account, so I paid the late fee, plus the month that I missed (there wasn't anything valuable on the site, so I hadn't noticed it was gone), plus an extra month, to find out that they had terminated the service - I didn't even get the next month I paid for. [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] This was Lithium too. Try complaining on the SA thread if you want a better soapbox.
I started making my porfolio site , i want the landing page to be the same as my business card which looks like this: and has contact details on the back. So i came up with this. I need to center the hello and change the button to make it look nice but other than that im happy with this simple landing page: http://adrian.emuapp.co
Another mockup for work. Looking for advice (mostly regarding the hero and navigation). It's a portfolio, and the general style will be informative but minimal and flat. [t]http://i.imgur.com/cHNI5Tb.jpg[/t] Live version is at http://krehart.eu/
It's kind of hard to read that text against the background. (Or at least a bit unpleasant.)

I'd add "menu" next to the hamburger icon as well because there's lots of usability tests going around right now showing that that icon is ineffective and not as universally recognized as people would like it to be.z It looks decent, but it feels very "follow the trends follow the trends!" to me.
I'm not a professional designer by any means, but I've always followed the philosophy of "as few clicks as possible". Your menu items could fit perfectly next to that logo - why have the menu? This isn't me trying to trash you - this is just something that I wish other people valued. Functionality should come before design, and a key component of a website serving a function is being as simple to use a possible and not having to do extra clicking to get places.

This is something a lot of people don't seem to understand. Design is not making things look pretty. Design is making things accomplish, or help people accomplish, a specific goal in the best way possible. Looks play a part, but they are absolutely not the core of what design is. Design solves problems.
So I found this game on Android and Apple devices: [t]http://i.imgur.com/6psndCk.png[/t] So I wanted to play on my PC but there isn't a PC counterpart as far as I searched (page 3 of Google, m'kay?). So I made a clone. You can find it here. Addiction level: reprograms the game to play on other platforms.
