Yes, I do have that in mind, I also need to make the site accessible.
I think I'm going to have a fallback CSS class, I don't think it will be that much more work than putting in a compatibility library.
You're probably going to need test virtual machines with Internet Explorer 7-11, maybe 6.
Also the HTML5 semantic tags aren't supported, no CSS media queries and there is no CSS animation in IE <9.
Also you'll need to move reset.css before the bootstrap CSS too or it defeats the point of both.
I'm sticking to display:block layout with clearfix and floats and crap, rather than flexbox which is what I prefer.
You've currently got nothing in the design which needs to be floated.
Is this appropriate to use? Source
That's only IE8. IE7 isn't dead yet, especially when the target market is likely to have old computers and software.

damn, The best option here is probably to just downgrade the site then, :downs: This is going to be funny.
That is okay though, Ill continue with HTML5 until I finish the design.
SublimeLinter?
I'm not sure if it's actually linting you're looking for though, to me it sounded like that.
Also, this thread is full of questions all of a sudden. Use the questions thread. :v:
I don't think that's linter. Basically, the only reason I'm still using Dreamweaver is because of this:

Now I don't necessarily need the documentation (even if it is extremely useful) but I at least need the parameters. The second part is this:

While typing this, it first suggests the "echo" then it suggest html tags, then it starts suggesting html attributes, picking style and inside the style it suggest css properties. Meanwhile in sublime when I do echo " it suggests php. Kinda useless.

What you are demonstrating is IntelliSense or Code Completion (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_code_completion)
If you want something more up-to-date that offers this - considering that your Dreamweaver version might be a little bit old - PHPStorm might cut your cake, considering that in the long run, it's much cheaper than paying for Adobe's Creative Cloud crud. Especially if you don't plan on using it for commercial purposes, in which case it's cheaper than Sublime. I use RubyMine myself, and considering how neat it is, PHPStorm probably isn't much different.

so useful for prototyping
edit: using just em for everything, changing body font-size with css to scale whole site, pretty cool
-snip-
Read border. Not outline my bad.
Need to make the width and height -2px as well tho. Or it might Mess up the positioning.
or use box-sizing: border-box
or use box-sizing: border-box
Outline doesn't change the elements size right? Outline takes up no space. So there is no reason to.
[editline]12th April 2014[/editline]
Oh and you can use "outline-color: invert" instead of a set color. That way you can see the outline regardless of the elements color.

i'd be using that but it creates a really harsh (black on white) skeleton for me to work with.
it doesnt invert properly either, it would own if you could place outlines on images and have it invert and stuff...

It's good looking, but please customize the framework. It's not good to just use default styles from Foundation.

Okay, thanks, i agree with you but i'll touch the style at the end.
For now I just finished the entire setup.
Now it creates the tables, insert logs and create a config.php file with the variables.

This little bitch of a Chrome setting cost me fucking 4 hours.
I was doing some install script testing and it kept breaking. Turns out that setting loads a page in the background if you type the url in the address bar. You don't have to press enter or anything. The page loads in the background.
My install script kept giving me "Already installed" every single time even tho I was 100% sure it was just installed. I almost went insane trying to figure it out.
I spotted it by luck by having explorer open in my log directory. A log file popped up before I hit enter then I figured out it was probably Chrome doing something fucking stupid.

That's an incredibly useful feature, it makes browsing 10x faster
That's an incredibly useful feature, it makes browsing 10x faster
Yes it is. But if you are using some (terrible) workarounds during development and you don't know about this feature you are basically fucking yourself.
My code was basically this:
if($already_installed){
echo "Already installed.";
}else{
//Install code
}
Manually check if installed. It isn't.
Go to install.php. Shows "already installed".
Manually check if installed. It is.
Then I added logging to file. I got duplicate log entries. Spend so long trying to figure out what was causing it.
Its also great when you have a url for testing push notifications and accidentally send "test" into a live environment thanks to this.
Well...shit, at least the option's there to turn it off :v:

Great reasons to not use GET requests for anything other than retrieving information.
Currently working on http://www.speedsums.com (http://beta.speedsums.com if you want to check out some cool stuff! make sure you log in with fb) - does anyone have any good ways that I can encourage social engagement - i.e get people to invite their friends to the site and tweet/fb about it? Any potential rewards that I can give for tweeting about it or whatever?
Thanks

Not sure how correct I am, but the problem I see is that usually you don't perform better than the mean. This means there is no reason to share it unless you are actually good. (Perhaps try to gather data on the share button?) I know that I won't share something that tells me 'Gratz you performed better than 45% of the people'. It kind of goes against our ego. Perhaps trying to get progress? Or add a button to share a random fact? Like 'Only 10% of people manage to do 40 calculations in 30s! <url>'.
Don't suppose I could get some CC on some of the stuff I've been working on lately?

Don't know if you're open for input, but I'd change the placing and style of the pagination thing. And also move the copyright stuff up in to the other footer?
Other than that it looks really good and simple.
Bit of CC on this would be lovely

You could use any free hosting site, or Dropbox, or Heroku, or a local server.
