I was literally just looking at it for a new project i'm thinking of starting, Using AngularJS at work and loving it and want to learn more about Node so I thought it would be a good choice, still not sure about MongoDB though, something about not having a relational database scares me. too many things could go wrong

Watch out it's a gateway thing!
Before you know it you'll end up like me and you'll be self- hosting everything and you'll have 6 external servers and a whole bunch of servers at home.
It's like meth.
Also Debian/Fedora servers mustard race.

He's really got a point, you start seeing offers on LowEndBox and when you wake up you have lots of servers that you won't ever use
I really don't even know what to do with this 2gb one I have like what the hell I already run everything else on my other two why did I buy it
I'm just thinking of throwing a Source server, some donation page and some sourcemod plugins to give colours to donators, I mean, at least it would get used by someone.
Nginx pls
Currently working on the html build for my portfolio which can be found here. Front-end work has never been a strong suit for me so I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback.
Thanks in advance.

The font in the "header" really annoys me and there are 2 white lines on the left and the right of the image.
When you say "header" do you mean the top nav or the main area with my name etc?

The part with your name, sorry.

Basically, it's either "add a repo and install it via yum", "install it via yum", or "build it from source like any other linux system." And yum is much more manageable than aptitude.

Sometimes I prefer just HTML/CSS/JQuery for front end, instead of bootstrap, etc..
How do I go about obtaining a dribbble invite?
[editline]15th July 2014[/editline]
whoops, wrong thread sorry!
Sometimes I prefer just HTML/CSS/JQuery for front end, instead of bootstrap, etc..
Something tells me you don't really know what bootstrap is.
Bootstrap imo is a nice base to get a design running quickly. I'm not really used to it though myself, and if you don't skin it for production then... TLDR; I would be dissapointed
Long time ago I organised a rally cup and had to provide a site with info and results sheets, it was made using online WYSIWYG crap because I wasn't into web.
I plan to do it again, but with my own site, which would also help me to conclude everything I learned so far.

Table is populated with script that parses JSON and sorts the data, so I can edit the table easier.
also fuck that feeling that I did something wrong here. There's a giant empty space below all that content though.
Why do people use stuff like "Faggot" for test data? Inevitably one day you're going to forget to take it out and you'll wind up giving a presentation and suddenly there's Faggot 1-4 on your screen and everyone will just be staring at you.
I know because it happened to guys in my class last year.
I haven't nearly finished, but here's the start of a CMS for a donation system I'm working on.

Jesus Christ I got Node.js and Socket.IO working with Apache. That was a hell of a workout on my mental strength:

I'm just doing the server logic, he does CSS

It happened while my boss was showing a project to a board of directors a few years back. Someone filled the profession of a test entry with "Faggot".
