I don't think you realize - if this is what they're working on, and it's web development related, then almost anything goes as a discussion topic here. If they want to talk about it, they'll talk about it, and I don't think the mods will prevent that.

I don't think you realize - it's not what they're working on, it's what I'm working on and I don't want to take part in a discussion with people picking apart my project because I'm trying to make some money online. I posted a design for the purchase form because I was working on it at the time. By all means talk about it in this thread all you want, I only kindly requested that we try not to get into a discussion about it here. If you really want to talk about Cobra PHP Obfuscator, there is a thread about it here: [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1434243[/url] - that may be a better place, as there are a lot of nice projects and designs going on in this thread, seems a little off-topic having a what could escalate whole page of replies to my design when they aren't even critiquing the design...

I'd remove the text about paypal and all that, because when you redirect to paypal you are offered to log in or just pay using a card without logging in

I think it looks weird to have placeholders in the top 4 forms but not in the bottom 2. I understand that Discount code doesn't need one, but I think you could do "[e-mail]" in the email box and the same text as in the password field in the email confirmation box.

It's better, but now it's a bit inconsistent :v:

At some places you use please, at some places you just use a description of what it is, at another place you have the requirements in the box, and the confirmations both have different text.

Honestly, why even use placeholders here? The labels themselves explain it sufficiently in most of the fields (password strength being the exception). Consistency doesn't really matter as long as the information is displayed correctly IMO.

Regardless of whether or not it's something [i]you're[/i] working on, we can discuss any aspects of what you're working on, even if it's not something you don't want us to discuss. This thread is meant to handle the general context of your Cobra PHP Obfuscator (since it is something you are working on), and as such, we can (and should!) discuss it here instead of your thread.

This thread is not solely about design, for the same reason Web Development isn't solely about design - it encompasses more than just web design, including the backends and libraries that people are using. We often discuss Rails or PHP in here as well; we also sometimes discuss actual entire websites, as well - including your Cobra Obfuscator - in order to help the person better their service/website. This thread is not limited by any means in terms of Web Development; the only off topic posts are if people started posting pictures of their cats, but even then, I could find a connection to web development (placeholder images, anyone?).

The reason why I added the text about PayPal was to let them know in advance. Some users may not even click to the next page because they think they'll be required to have an account.

Managed to allow users to link videos directly into the template app script, lots of work to how the database populates with collected video files. Clicking right of the video will skip it. Counting video views now although it could be implemented safer.
