cheers mate, thanks for all of the help!
http://www.taimur.me Thoughts?
A bit too plain for my tastes. To me it looks like a short CV mockup in MS Word.
http://www.taimur.me Thoughts?
I like it. Not sure about #cashdolla, though.
http://www.taimur.me Thoughts?
some minor tweaking
http://www.taimur.me Thoughts?
Too plain I think. I don't understand the Twitter & Instagram 'career', as that would be the wrong word for it (or at least at the current state of them both). Also if you want it to be more professional, don't include '#cashdolla'.
Finished my engine's site overall design. http://fuccboi.moe/ Any feedback on something that you think needs to be changed?

the text goes outside the buttons on mobile res. and there's a long stretch to the bottom
Today I found out about CSS counters. I don't think I would use it much, but I guess it's cool that it exists. Still feels really strange for CSS though.
I just aquired iwant.pizza. According to my registrar, I was lucky, as I had a 16.666% chance of getting the domain.
I've been working in my personal homepage and I'm getting to a kind of working prototype; It's only in Norwegian, the HTML looks horrid, some pages aren't working and I've only tested it on a laptop screen but I'm pretty happy with the general design. If anyone has good feedback that would be great! http://rolig.heten.no/

http://rolig.heten.no/
You make want to throw some padding in the text area, and also center the nav bar (or at least add some margin to the left) with the content, at the moment on a wide screen your face pulls to the left and looks really bad. Generally I'm not really a fan of the massive nav menu either, it feels far to large and chunky than what it should be. Also your background image repeats, you may want to consider making it cover.

It's just a text explaining the site. You might want to put up some of your featured work there, or even write who you're looking to work for (If you need work, and if you are picky) + I agree with the above posts As this is a prototype I wouldn't really care to much about the design yet. read YET. Make the changes about and show it here or to a couple of friends. Rather than asking them how it looks, ask them to perform tasks and when they've finished, ask them if they'd expected it to be easier / different. (Like I'd expect you to straight up show me how awesome you are, aka featured work) This might sound too much on a small thing like a portfolio, but if this is how you'll enter the "market", you really want to get this done nicely.

I agree with what you are saying as I was starting to have problems reasoning to myself why I made the front such as it is and how it made sense to make the nav so huge. (Really it was more down to Bootstrap being troublesome) Luckily I'm probably not going to work professionally with website-design as I'm studying computer engineering. This is more of a fun sideproject I started as I'm interested in design as a hobby. I'm probably going to redesign the page when I'm done with exams.
Most CTOs I've met just assumes that if you know Java, you can do everything front end related
I built a new single-serving site! http://ishitlerontvtoday.com Half-automatically goes through German TV listings and displays everything related to Nazism for the day. Turns out there's a lot. After a year of collecting data I'll do some statistics. I'm always open to suggestions regarding functionality and design.

Although I don't know if anything/anyone would have a use for it.
A JSON output/RSS feed would be pretty cool. Although I don't know if anything/anyone would have a use for it.
Just for the contents of the front page? I don't really see a use for that, but I'd add it if someone asked me. Might make an RSS feed anyway. That said, I will provide daily SQL dumps of the whole thing (it collects as much EPG data as it can, though it won't override entries for shows I've already looked at and deemed relevant or irrelevant) when I get around to it.
Hook up an MCU to the json and at the right times trigger one of these :v: [Editline]b[/editline] Well this makes no sense without the preceding website...
That would be flaring constantly.
[t]http://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/2469961418612449794.png[/t] A lil server status page :3 It shows when the server is up, down, restarting or changing map. And no needs to refresh the page, the updates are js based.
Working on a game with a few friends. We want to blog about our progress so I figured why not try github pages and jekyll. Didn't get to the blogging part yet but I like it so far. Don't have a lot more than this right now. Not mobile friendly at all so don't bother trying it on your smartphone. I forgot the pain webdev is. Any suggestions for streamlining a site?
Just launched http://www.greatbritaincampaign.com/ - this morning - as part of a huge UK Campaign called 'GREAT'. Uses a nice SOA approach with various API endpoints to collate the data.

Been working on this lately http://eloacademy.com/profile/signup.php , still not sure about what background color/image to use. It's still a WIP but it's turning out nice imo. The login page is done as well.
