Hello, does anyone know if you change the previews wordpress gives in the page editing bit so they actually match what I've set in the stylesheet? [img]http://hostr.co/file/qkwMD6C1Qxqf/Screenshot-on-2013-05-31-at-17.09.34.png[/img] basically edit this so that heading 1 heading 2 w/e actually shows up what is set in the stylesheet instead of the generic bolded type
[QUOTE=Map in a box;40850743]That font is pbad, and why are you using img tags for the search[/QUOTE] Nice catch with the image tag. I had the css for the search bar to background-image, but forgot to change the click dropper. What's wrong with the font though?
[QUOTE=HELL_razor;40856125]What's wrong with the font though?[/QUOTE] It's ugly. Generally speaking, fonts that try to look "techy" look like shit

[QUOTE=HELL_razor;40856839]Ouch, looks like I may have some widths and heights to go back and change when I pick a new font >.<[/QUOTE] You should be able to swap fonts around without having to adjust sizing on things too much. What do you have that's tied to the font size enough that you'll need to adjust sizing on things?
Eternalflamez and I are having a discussion about whether or not the buttons (They are <a> elements) on this page should have the default pointers. [url]http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52732348/preview/craig%20wall%20design/index.html[/url]
And we're wondering what you were thinking, thoughts?

But if it's just an example of a design, then it's fine without the cursor:pointer;
I think they should have pointers. [editline]31st May 2013[/editline] there are dumb people out there.
If you click it, it does something, so yeah, it should change in a pointer imo.
What about normal <button>s? They don't have a pointer, yet the point to a place.
<buttons>s are strange
It would be good practice to use the same cursor any button element uses, but really since there is a hover effect it is unnecessary.
Pointer for things that are clickable. There is no downside to it, and it gives the user more immediate and universally recognizable information, so it's a good thing.

If I change the font, I know I'll have to mess with the positioning on that.

If I change the font, I know I'll have to mess with the positioning on that.[/QUOTE] You should keep the inner menus inside the tag that opens them with a hover, and make sure that tag is set as position: relative. Then if you do position: absolute for the dropdown menus they will be absolutely positioned inside their relatively positioned parent, allowing you to not have to adjust them any time you change a font or the menu :)

[QUOTE=Datzy;40873209]Just started this, thoughts? [URL]http://achgardner.tk/main.html[/URL][/QUOTE] It's really annoying to read those lines on the homepage, remove the hover effect or tone it down. Try to be more consistent with your padding, your nav has a little bit on the top and thrice as much on the bottom. Try fill the pages with more content and add more padding, your pages feel a bit slim at the moment. Look at [URL="http://foundation.zurb.com/"]this site[/URL], see how there is little content but they managed to fill out the page.

Nothin' special, but I just fiddled around with an .htaccess file and made it so that you can only reach a download link if you're on a specific page. For example, you'll only be able to access the files in this directory if you open the url on the page I made this comment on (I'm adding this page as an exception so you don't have to see what I mean by going through an ad.fly link): [url]http://exiguous-productions.heliohost.org/cw-plugins/downloads/[/url] And if you try to access it from a different page, well... You'll find that out soon enough.
