Woah woah, hang on. You can't just lift articles from other websites without any credit at all. You don't even have the correct author name.
Even with credit it's a bit dodgy without explicit permission. You're basically taking away their advertising revenue.

Use lorem ipsum?
All of the articles are copied from various news sites, just so I could test out certain functions.
I firstly used Lorem Ipsum, but it didn't give me the feel that I wanted to test. Using real text is much easier as previewing when you want to test our certain functions.
Not really 'web development' but it's more web dev than programming so I thought I'd put this here.
Made a little greasemonkey/tampermonkey script that makes the 'm.facebook.com' non-touch interface a bit nicer to use on the desktop. I'm on a horribly slow netbook at the minute so use that rather than the resource heavy facebook main page.

I'm not great at Javascript so it's probably a bit naff but gets the job done!
Use lorem ipsum?
Real content is a better placeholder than lorem ipsum.
You should be designing around content and "Lorem ipsum dolor" isn't content
I know you guys said the header font didn't match the page last time, but how is it like this:

I think there needs to be more space between the header and the navigation or less space between the navigation and those 3 package things, And i think it needs a bit more information to "sell it"
I'm working on a page for my MC server.

After that I will be making a homepage with some info about the site and other games I run.

To be completely honest, just changing the font would make it better. I reccomend Open Sans or something.
Open sans looks to plain though.
Title fonts can be a bit fancy and fun.
The actual copy needs to be easy on the eyes so people can actually read it (i.e. a plain serif/sans font)

Ooops, didn't mean to put that in the live version.

The body is okay, but the background and header colours don't go well together. Also too many shadows and gradients!
Making some sort of 'Karaoke' thing using jQuery, AJAX and YouTube for music.
http://www.benbristow.co.uk/karaoke/
The 'karaoke' part doesn't work yet. Anyone know of a decent timestamped lyrics database? Foobar2000's lyrics plugin seems to find them really quickly.
Edit: Fixed the link. Didn't have curl installed. Silly me.
Well, changed it so it's using Grooveshark's Tinysong API to search rather than YouTube. Probably use their widget for the audio. YouTube's search results were generated from the mobile results which suck for actual audio songs.

I'm not the best webdev or even close to good.
I'd like an opinion my site though.

- Never use black and white version of "3d glass icons" unless they're made that way.
- Give the icons some space (margin).
- Try and remake the header in css.
- Try playing around with the shadows black opacity (I'd gone down to around 0.2-0.4).
- It seems like you have tried to declare html 5, yet you use <center> which is not supported in html 5.
- Background takes up too much attention. The focus goes straight to the background, and not the faded out (black and white) icons. Find / make a simpler background.

Doesn't look too bad, I'd space the icons out a bit though.
Kinda like this.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll go about fixing all of those points.
It now defaults to slideshow with option to view as gallery instead. Still only optimized for chrome so far.
