I like morris for graphing. It is easier to use imo and is no worse off for it. It is like an easy graph specific wrapper for Raphael.
Seems pretty cool, I'll keep that one in mind, too. It's just that the concept of the day graph is just something I threw together, and there aren't many graph libraries out there that can natively put one together.

What should I do with the whitespace on the sides of the images?
Don't mind the repeated text below them, it won't be there later.
Oh and if anyone was going to say something about all the space where the logo is - don't worry, I'm gonna fill that out.

Slightly darker grey that spans 100% width? Idk

Depends. How does your navigation work?

Can I suggest you take the borders away on the header? I think it'll look nicer without them, especially if you're navigation is going to float on the right hand side of the header.

or maybe make it 1-2px

The border right now is not floating with the header.
Had a tutorial assignment for an online music class I'm taking so I made this

The actual content is seriously lacking but I had fun with it, it was made in like 20 minutes
So I decided to go with this approach for filling out all the empty space.

Maybe fade the other titles out a bit since they don't relate to the text

The text won't be there. :) I just haven't gotten around to removing it.

What is it gonna be for then?
What is it gonna be for then?
The text is from the articles page.
The frontpage will just be covered with those 3 images(dynamic) and if you scroll down you will see all the latest article headlines.
Doing a work of social networks from the web class, the teacher says 9fag, blogs and WoW are a type of social networks.
I'm going to use the lazy part of my brain to work on that then.

EDIT: I don't get why I'm getting so many dislikes, lol.
Is it because your mad about the filler titles or because you think the design fucking sucks?

It just looks a bit weird, especially with that background.
Also, try more padding on the top of each article, right under the line.
You've gone from something really quite good to something that can be made in a matter of minutes, the content isn't even horizontally aligned with the header either.
I'm not going to critique your design because I'm sure someone else with more experience will, but I thought I'd just point out that you're going to need to take into consideration how a game review website works (I'm assuming that's what it is?). Look at other websites and you'll find that articles aren't conventionally shown like that and personally I think the way you're attempting it isn't as good.

For example, wasting the empty space like that isn't going to work well with a real article.

It's not an article page. I've mentioned that in a couple of posts now.
That is the front page, I just had not gotten around to removing the "article"-part.
This is how it currently looks.

That's really overwhelming.
Just finished my first asp.net mvc4 mass emailer.
Took me a whole day to figure some shit out. There are so many weird ass things that don't work the first time you try but when you do it exactly the same the second time it does work.
Try adding a controller. Nope, something is wrong with the model controller won't be added.
Save everything and restart VS
Try adding a controller, sure everything works fine.

I like where you were going with this when comparing to the other things you have so far. Just needs some tweaks and it's not so distracting imo.

wow. I didn't know there was a calc() function in css3. This just made my life A LOT easier :v:
Yeah, I'd been waiting years for something like calc() to be introduced to CSS, but right now it's not really reliable to use, considering it's less supported across the board than even the audio spec.
From a design and markup standpoint, I don't really see myself using it until the working specs are much much more mature. While additional markup may be necessary to replicate what calc() can do easily, there's a rock solid standard for the current HTML standard and basic CSS functionality that a majority of browsers provide more availability to, so it doesn't pay off to use it right now.
I was looking at the "More CSS Secrets: Another 10 things you may not know about CSS" (yeah its late)

i thought everything in there was really awesome. I also liked the css hack in 0:50:0

Looks good, but I think there is too much text in the black parts, you should either add padding or make it titles only, and when you click on the title the content itself will side scroll into that article

I launched my site some months ago, and over half the mail I get is empty. I'm wondering if there might be something wrong with the email form or if there actually is that many trolls :v:
