Been working on my portfolio: http://www.janlehtinen.com/jan/ Tested on 1920x1080 and 1440x900 resolutions, feedback would be great :) EDIT Made some changes with the turquoise color, and made the header image larger. Haven't checked any typos yet :)

Looks pretty good, and I have no issue at all with the turquoise / white color combination.

Need to check it on a few monitors.
Hehe, thanks. Need to check it on a few monitors.
Works well on my 1366x768 too. It looks nice! Just a little thing I have noticed - you probably didn't intend writing "jQueryt". edit:

The text that says "A web designer and developer.." in the header is very thin for me though, a bit hard to read (running Chrome in Crunchbang Linux). Also, the large blocks of text in the "About me" section seem a bit dense, and could possibly scare people away. Maybe try to remove some of it if possible, or break it up into smaller pieces and add more space. Otherwise it looks very nice :)
Lets you manage, scan, and monitor servers. So you can do things like get the WHOIS data for a website every X days and notify you if there are any changes, or get it to send you an email/SMS whenever a website goes down, scan servers for known vulnerabilities, alert you of anomalous activity on a network such as additional suspicious hops added to a traceroute, that sort of thing. There's so many features that I want to implement that it's kind of grown into this massive project that consumes all my free-time.
I'd use that. But you better make sure that it's REALLY secure.

About me text is a bit heavy, will see what I come up with.

The sad thing is the average client won't know what Actionscript is, they'll most likely ask for Flash instead

I've tried everything but centering li's in a horizontal ul just doesn't work. Shame. oh wait okay text-align works on block now? cool
I've tried everything but centering li's in a horizontal ul just doesn't work. Shame. oh wait okay text-align works on block now? cool
Since when? Unless you're using inline-block?
The sad thing is the average client won't know what Actionscript is, they'll most likely ask for Flash instead
Actionscript (Flash) maybe?
[t]http://files.1337upload.net/Screenshot_from_2013-07-31_11_40_08.png[/t]
Not bad at all! The only thing I'm not sure about is the type used for "get binaries" and "fork on github". I think a sans-serif is fine, I'd just reduce the font-size.
Actionscript (Flash) maybe?
"Flash/Actionscript"
Took a while with the typography on this thing: Designed with neutral colors because the contents of the blog will be filled with images. I don't want the design to overcome the actual content. Kind of like a photography blog.
