It already has The Simpsons.
Does anybody want to make anything with me?

should change the name, kinda confusing as I kinda thought it was garry's thing at first.
Well, a basic version of the site is up.
http://www.tellyium.com
I wouldn't recommend using this though because things are probably going to change soon. Feel free to test it though.
Kinda reminds me of sickbeard/Couchpotato. But without the downloading of shows/movies
I want to redesign my portfolio, but I got no idea how I would display the logo/header/name.
Anyone got any tips or articles?

That's not really the kind of thing you can write a generic article on because it completely depends on the rest of the design and the look/feel that you are going for.
I feel like this is the cheesiest thing ever.
[redacted, hold on]
Thoughts? I went with the scale effect since i can't find a working opacity fade in.

Use jQuery .fadeIn().

I tried that, but it didn't work either. I feel like it could be something in the html5 boilerplate that I used.

Oh, you know what. The boilerplate didn't come with jquery lol.
Currently redesigning my dads business website, should I keep the animations?

(oh god I hate that fucking background but my dad loves it)

jQuery 2 offers much smoother animations. And yes

Keep the animations but make the background smaller
jQuery 2 offers much smoother animations. And yes
Even smoother than css3?
Even smoother than css3?
How would you even compare them? "Smoothness" is pretty subjective.
jQuery 2 offers much smoother animations. And yes
They seemed smooth enough to me.
any comparisons between the two?
How would you even compare them? "Smoothness" is pretty subjective.
How is it subjective? There's visible choppiness with jquery animations when they are causing a large part of the window to repaint.

You have some agrees so I don't know whats going on with the water supply. I have a lot of experience with jQuery animations and modifying animations with Javascript.

I made that, I can even make a comparison video of jQuery 1 and 2 but I'm not going to waste my time when I know I'm right. Look at those liquid chocolate smooth animations

Tumblr theme im working on. It needs way more work. Im going to make it wider and make the blog post content wider so its less cramped and add content to the right of the mainframe along with a few other changes. Its okayish
Does anyone else use Iconmoo? Im absolutely loving it, it's a shit ton better than using images for icons

When you click on [Menu], the menu slide in from the left to right.
And i'll put an icon for each site I make above the steam icon.
(still working on the fact that all the page is pushed to the right when [menu] is clicked but... any tips ?)

Unless you want an icon to actually be more than one color
Unless you want an icon to actually be more than one color
this is true.
Out of curiosity is there any way to apply a gradient to text in a stylesheet? I'm pretty sure it's not doable but then again the internet always surprises you with what they come up with

take that terrible ad off the website.
So I don't know much about websites and I really haven't found a good site generator, but I've made this: POSTED

Change prosicuted to "taken to a cabin on the woods" or executed or something
this is true.

Kind of... It's webkit only, but there's a really hacky way using masks, or this.
I have to learn javascript at university for an assignment so I wanted to make minesweeper without using jQuery. So here it is so far, there's a few more things to finish up then it's done.

it was pretty fun, when this is done I'm going to try making tetris in JS without jQuery.

I'd love to add 'watch now' buttons, but I'm pretty sure that would get the copyright police on to me. I guess I could find a way to add netflix/lovefilm/hulu buttons or maybe Amazon video buttons.
