put some margin between your content text and its container
also, it looks so dark, all the different colors of gray just don't appeal to me
Found my own wat in Javascript today.

I plan on changing that up in the CSS when I start coding the website.
Looks beautiful. You could do with making the portfolio images clickable though.
Done.
Added some left & right navigation buttons on the portfolio section too.

I tried to find in the ECMA implementation details why this happens but I didn't see anything. My only thought is that it checks to see if there are any elements within the array in this comparison. Keep in mind that == is not an absolute equivalence in JS either.

JK, here you go: http://www.ecma-international.org/ecma-262/5.1/#sec-8.7.1
[editline]11th September 2013[/editline]
(It stems from the fact that an array does not have a primitive base type)
Changed up the nav bar and added some more to the blank space.

Is there a reason you're using different greys?
Configuring my development environment on ubuntu, fuckin' goddammit so many stuff...
Still pretty early work, just started getting it going into the direction I want:

You doing sharing/rating?
You doing sharing/rating?
Yep, original idea was by Tera, but I was obviously piggy-backing off ideabooq - this is a project I'm doing to get up to speed on Rails (4). Sharing and rating is already up and running, I'm doing a styling round before I start adding more features.

Nice :) I was really on the fence about doing sharing/rating/publicly visible ideas with ideabooq, but decided against it for now because I'd rather use it as a brain dump for things that aren't really complete enough to be out in the wild. I do want to add some kind of collaboration tools to it eventually, but there's a lot of other stuff I want to explore first.
I've been working on a Spelunky Daily Challenge learderboard archive / viewer: http://spelunkyexplorers.com/

I'm not totally happy with the scroll thing on the right and the title styling, does anyone have any suggestions for either?

I don't know if you're saying you don't like the scroll image itself, or want something different completely. But, if you want a different scroll image: I made this and it was never used.

== isn't type strict so [] evaluates to an empty string and an empty string equals false.

The margins around the rating box are weird.
Either make the box slightly bigger or pad out the top and left margins more.

Make the photo a bit smaller and make the text white. It's unreadable due to the dark background.
(or just change the background)

Yeah, I liked the background, but I'll do that.

Hey, that's pretty cool! You should add more and flush out that page.
How's this for a small portfolio page? (It's responsive)
Hey, that's pretty cool! You should add more and flush out that page.
Wouldn't flushing out the page get rid of everything?
Wouldn't flushing out the page get rid of everything?
I think he meant to say "flesh out"
oh yeah sorry that was a typo

I like it a lot!
Not something special but I finished my first school assignment today where we had to copy some web design. I feel proud. :v:
[sp]IMO the website is a 9.5/10 look-a-like[/sp]

Indented logs and syntax highlighting support for views and asset compilation errors.

I guess that explains why [] * 1 === 0
