Working with a text generator. Planning to launch the service in December 2012 with about 50 typography effects. A demonstration of text effects can be created with the system: http://www.textgiraffe.com/London/
Making a comeback here with this.
This here is actually quite clever
Someone wanted me to make them a website for a movie project they were working on. They wanted like a "trailer" website. I was trying new things out and figured out I could .hide divs and what not for that effect. It works very nicely.
Oh by the way, KmartSqrl, the website loads pretty fast now that I moved it over to a VPS. :v: http://dicelife.eu/ (almost everything is still broken because I'm working locally)
I have my work cut out for me. The previous designer made this: http://cubsac.com/ So, I'm in the planning stage right now. I'll update you guys with my progress later on~
I'm not sure you understand the meaning of "working ... in this company".
When I first read it I didn't consider that. I guess that's what happens when you browse early in the morning.
Dumping some new screenshots.
That dark pattern really doesn't work well, especially on the tabs.

Little bit more self esteem , looks great
I hope I'm not spamming. http://dicelife.eu/what.html [editline]14th August 2012[/editline] Some of you might recognize the artstyle, even though it is in its rougher and sketchier style.
Why is the text a part of the image?
Because I just wanted something quickly in place, I'll change it into text later. Though Magento isn't easy with even those kinds of things.
i am no good with design
No it actually looks pretty good. The only bit I think needs any real work is the logo/header as right now it feels out of place to me.

I think that would be better, because as it is now, I get annoyed for some reason :/
http://cutup.hamer-associates.kaweb-cypher.co.uk/ It looked way better before the client went DUHHHHHH all over it.
i am no good with design
Changing the colors would already produce quite a big difference
http://cutup.hamer-associates.kaweb-cypher.co.uk/ It looked way better before the client went DUHHHHHH all over it.
On a true color IPS, the contrast with the background and the background of the nav/content is not enough.
On a true color IPS, the contrast with the background and the background of the nav/content is not enough.
It looked fine on my Dell IPS at home but I darkened the background a bit anyway.

The problem with super good monitors in webdesign is that you tend to design for your own monitor when most people have an average/terrible monitor and then everyone complains that stuff doesn't contrast enough when it looks great on your own screen.
If you are designing, you should have an accurate monitor. You don't buy a crappy monitor to know what your work will look like. You learn how designs done on your monitor translate to other monitors. [editline]14th August 2012[/editline] Music production works the same way. You don't produce on ipod headphones so that you know what your stuff sounds like on ipod headphones. You produce on accurate speakers and learn how they translate.
I think the best idea would be to have a studio monitor and then one or two average monitors to be able to see in advance what your thing might look like on different devices.
This is good.

Lowering it would just make it look even more horrible.
I think the best idea would be to have a studio monitor and then one or two average monitors to be able to see in advance what your thing might look like on different devices.
I have an average TN for my desktop and whateverthefuck my laptop has, all I know is that if I check it on my laptop I see the worst case scenario Hello 5 color gradient over 700px where it was smooth before
i am no good with design
I actually really like this, I think the header needs some work and maybe the colours because the navigation bar seems a little too contrasting with the content underneath but the layout is nice and clean, maybe try left aligning the links in the navigation
