Gotta parse an xml file to set the sidebar and the proper image with whats selected.
well the point is that I have to integrate few customization options to a product while ordering and integrating it with the zen cart. The client doesn't want it to be changed.
I've updated and partially rewritten my portfolio's about page. If anybody wants to help me by proof-reading it, you're welcome and I really appreciate it.

It's a primary school website.
Last time I checked, they aren't really concerned with their web presence, and they rarely have any sort of budget/funding dedicated towards a website.
It's fairly common for primary school websites to be built in frontpage by whichever member of staff has the most IT experience, so it's nothing special; besides you can find plenty of sites which are much worse than that.
^^on other news, the justifier strikes again.

It's was built by someone who has a IT business for a start. I mean, the school colours are red for fuck sake. He could of at least made it red.
Working on my portfolio website at the moment:
[t]http://puu.sh/1bo6b[/t]
Loved the design at first, now I can't help but think the "clean metal" design is getting in the way of functionality/usability so I want to re-design. Problem is I'm not overly creative. Ignore CM DESIGN/MEDIA. They are filler until I think of a good name

Trying to involve some kind of a theme/personality. Or neat looking minimalism. Or a mixture.
Unless you were getting the layout idea across, in which case I'm already working on a design with the same layout. Having trouble with creative block again. As always.
Does Facepunch know a spell to make one self more creative? Or an old wives tale along the lines of: "Stick your head under sand, and then a eat a jam sandwich"

Practice. Find things that inspire you. "I'm not creative" is a cop-out.

Build regular creative time in to your life, give yourself a half hour every day or two where you just sit down and think and jot ideas down in a notebook.
Soooo much GREY
[editline]4th October 2012[/editline]
Just looking at it makes me depressed

I would post some content, but the only thing I'm working on is super secret. I promise it looks good though!

Oh yeah, it was for the layout, nothing else. But since you're doing something similar...

It definitely needs to use more than two colors.

Am I the only one who thinks the avatars are way too big? They're larger than the logo.
[editline]a[/editline]
Are the avatars too big? Agree for yes, disagree for no.

The Windows Azure control panel is hot as shit.

(I'm using just the trial, because it's expensive though)
So I re-did my site again. Thoughts?
I tried to improve it a little bit:
