I understood that :p but why? What have I done wrong? Is it the whole thing that doesn't fit together or is it not "forum enough"? Shall I restart with a a new idea?

You need to work on the header a lot more, think of a better colour scheme and pick a better font.

It's an effect I accidentally made in my PS template, but I thought it was cool. Was shit hard to implement tough. What do you guys think about it? And the white space is because the user name and options is misplaced on small monitors. There is still much white space on bigger monitors tough. Gonna use it somehow. Thanks again!

It seems like you've taken the existing design, made it black and white, removed the images and taken small themes from the [url=http://cl.ly/image/022d3U192t19]old Facepunch design[/url] and included some very odd spacing on the header. The design itself is not that bad, you could easily change a few things over and make it a little bit nicer but remember colors are your friend. Also try and deviate a little from what Facepunch already looks like layout wise, I'd really like to see more creative takes on a forum layout

I was going to change the font, I just arrived at my main computer :) And I wasn't copying anything, I made it all from scratch without even knowing facepunch looked like that before (Can't remember facepunch looked like that O.o). And ya. I need to do something unique.

I think the menu can be the biggest improvement... You most definitively want the forums and subforums instantly visible on the main page. Was messing around with having just the forums show and when you click/hover them the subforums showing up. But it would just be annoying not to be able to reach the places you go to quickly. And you can only do so much with a list.

But don't you think it will get annoying after a while having to click to see your subforums? Love how it looks otherwise.

Love how it looks otherwise.[/QUOTE] I was going to come up with some sort of sub-forum/topic subscription thing so you could quickly get to your favorites, however it would only require 1 more click than the current layout and there wouldn't be a jump between page loads it would be ajax (or thats the idea)
