Ya. The font was primarly for the title "Marius", because it's big enough for windows/chrome to add AA.
Haven't found some any looking fonts that looks great in chrome for windows yet :/

About to start working on an win8 tile sharing site.
The default look of desktop apps in the win8 startmenu look kinda shitty.

Alot of people aren't that artistic and google tiles instead of making them. A website where these tiles can be uploaded and downloaded would be great. Tag tiles by program/category and a nice search function + overview is something that would be great.

It's actually my first design that I've taken seriously, and even more of my first design in terms of starting out in photoshop. I only have six active colors that I have in my color pallet, and 5 of them are different shades of gray (I find that I'm actually trying to keep this number down :v). I'm not sure how to improve on the graph, though, because I figured if I made the bars blue, that's quite a bit of blue. I do plan on having more content below the "more statistics" and obviously below the "recent events."
So, I'm not entirely sure how I'm supposed to make the graph more important (I guess?).

Add some numbers, make the bars purple and experiment with how you can most efficiently convey the numbers graphically (bars are terrible at this). Maybe a solid color background to fit in with the Windows 8 Metro theme could look decent, seeing as it's for Metro tiles anyways.

I have done horizontal scrolling before. Its a pain in the ass with static content I don't feel like making it even more hacky so it works with dynamic content as well.

While I do think that bars are best for the design of it, I can't tell for shit what that graph means or the period for which it's displaying that data
My guess was active users by hour for the last 24 hours, but there's 26 columns so that shoots that out the water

I think the animation looks way to forced and 'gimmicky'. Why not show the download icon on hover and get rid of the white space which has no other purpose than to give space to the animation.

Get rid of the line above the tiles, doesn't look very metro-ish.
I think I just made an optical illusion without knowing it. When I look at the space between 4 tiles I see grey circles at all other corners. Anyone else?
