I thought your panel was web based in HTML / CSS, I apologize.
I'm working on it in photoshop, I'll probably transfer it to HTML/CSS when I'm satisfied with the whole product.
Does anyone here have an dribble account? I'd really appreciate an invite from someone :)
Out of invites....I can get more though :)
Out of invites....I can get more though :)
I would snuggle with you for an hour for an invite.
I would snuggle with you for an hour for an invite.
Pfft. You'd have to at least suck him off.
Pfft. You'd have to at least suck him off.
Eeermm... If I get desperate enough.
I didn't want to make a thread out of this because the "pay" isn't particularly great (but it's still okay considering the small task) - I'm running a sort of competition for my community for whoever designs the best loading page - it can be simple, it just has to look good. The prize is either stuff in the servers or $20 via Paypal/Steam/whatever. If any of you are interested in it (I know $20 isn't a lot, but it's still something) and may have an idea floating around your head for a loading page and you'd like to give it a try, check out http://www.lifepunch.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=6907
Wow, my work must be really terrible. Nobody seems to even comment on it.
Wow, my work must be really terrible. Nobody seems to even comment on it.
It's not terrible, the alignment just doesn't meet up, and the navigation can definitely use some padding. tbh I don't see any reason to use 960gs. Its not hard to get something aligned properly and 960gs is just limiting you.
tbh I don't see any reason to use 960gs. Its not hard to get something aligned properly and 960gs is just limiting you.
Not really if you actually understand the way it should be used. It's a tool, not a constraint.
tbh I don't see any reason to use 960gs. Its not hard to get something aligned properly and 960gs is just limiting you.
The way I'm doing is is definitely not the way to do it. Don't be put off by my terrible implementation of it. It's a great system.
You're able to switch between a textarea and the alphabet for the character preview.
instead of having a literally worthless pretty tinted grid in the background, couldn't you at least align the grid to meet with the typeface's ascender height, cap height, median... etc.? i mean at least put in some alignment into the baseline to make it look like you're trying just my 2¢
Too much orange!
The pics are a crap res too. :(
There are no high resolution cameras in the north east.

http://www.tile8.com/?page=uploadpage Only working cientside. Still got some serverside stuff to do. Any feedback? Going to add generated large and small tiles as well and giving them a border or something similar. So people realize its generated.

Some people don't really like being forced to drop files and they won't know they can browse unless they accidentally click.

Make the key details (max file size and allowed file formats) more obvious
The page counter is a simple include file which allows me to place it on a page, and on any page I want to track the hits on, and sorts it by day and page. The messages is used in contact, for anyone that uses the contact page gets sent to this page and shown to users with certain permissions. When a user replied to the message, it marks it as replied and logs all the info for the message. Than it gets sent to the users email that they inputted. Thinking of just having an online message system though, not sure. It is a lot of fun getting all this information and displaying it in a nice format.

What happens if the tags are long and you have four of them added? (so that they take enough room to span the whole area where the text input is)
What happens if the tags are long and you have four of them added? (so that they take enough room to span the whole area where the text input is)
The input (and the tags if needed) would wrap to the following line.
You're welcome http://cosmicduck.net/catfacts The RSS feed is very useful, especially when linked with something like zapier and twilio. @Miljaker Will tile8 be able to change the tiles to my pinned folders?
I'm working on a modal box design for a startup I just started working at. I like where it is so far but I'm not sure what to do with the typography/copy. Any thoughts?
He's talking about the modal, not the site.
Ah I misunderstood.
