hihihihihihihi
That message is extremely vague for what it actually means.
I have a little more progress as I had feedback to reduce the size page size.
I know I didn't do exactly that, as I, for some reason, like the full length navbar and footer.
Thanks to everyone who had some feedback. It really helped.
Does anyone else happen to have some feedback for this: http://exclusive1.asia/demiurge/
If so, I'd love to hear it.
Cheers again guys.
Open Sans isn't rendering in the main content area (it is in the sidebar though).
Looks quite a bit nicer now :)
Does anyone else happen to have some feedback for this: http://exclusive1.asia/demiurge/
It's looks better :)
Some problems I noticed though:

The page is badly centered. I don't know if you have a widescreen monitor but on a lower resolution it's obvious. Here's what it would look like with another centering:

Also, when you push the resolution a little lower, the sidebar jumps at the bottom of the page.

So, these are the problems, but here's my advice to fix them:
I think I know you you designed the main content area. You took two divs and applied left, and right padding on each. While this could work, previous examples showed you it's better not to do that. What you could do is put a "margin: 0 auto;" on a big #content and a fixed width of your choice (650px would keep your current design). Then you can put two #text and #sidebar (just suggestions of names) in it with respectively 500px and 150px of width, and either apply a float or a display: inline-block on either of them.
Some minor code things: I saw that you used the 'font' tag. Don't use it please, it's more than deprecated. Please apply the CSS properties directly on #content. Also, instead of putting a lot of <br/> you can use margin-bottom or margin-top.
I hope this helps, if you don't understand something don't hesitate. Good luck :)

Thanks a heap!
Ill get this done tomorrow as it is late now. I tried to apply the margin-bottom and or margin-top but because I'm using the <hr>'s it wouldn't work.
I will defiantly fix up the 'font' tag stuff.
Later tomorrow after work, if I get the chance, I'll try and make it centered properly. Although I was having trouble with it before.

Cheers again. I started fixing it, but have to go now.

It's pretty much finished, I'll just be making improvements and changes as I see fit - any ideas?
Write in random words, copy to word document. Fix errors.. BAM essay
Just finished an initial mockup for a personal project, please do pay no attention to Photoshops god awful attempts at anti-aliasing at small font sizes!

I love that the "Is it time to drop IE 8 support" tile/article is the only one that is "complete" :v:

I did actually enjoy writing that extremely short segment! I have so many topics I want to talk about and discuss, but no current platform to be my 'soapbox'. I have had everything in place for months / years but never got around to actually designing and developing my own website, I have done so much project work for others but none for myself!

Looks good.
The black border around the header text in "Top Tuts", "Tech Deals" and "Twitter" looks a bit off. I think you should remove the black border and instead make the text dark bold matching the art style of the icons.
Also the ribbons look good but the gaming one doesn't look right, perhaps certain the text or make the ribbon fit the text?

Yeah the ribbon for gaming looks odd because gaming is too short for the ribbon, the ribbons will be fluid when I convert it to markup.
Cheers for the comments.
I finally had the time to convert my church's proof of concept render to a live site. http://goo.gl/DawTc
No JavaScript usage yet, but I'll be using it for some neat site features, like adding a geolocation feature so when you click on the address link up top, Google Maps will slide in and replace the top hero region with directions to the church building based on where you're located.

Less border around the images. Also, I agree with Sharpshooter. Too short text looks stupid on such a long ribbon.
Possibly make the ribbon a bit bigger too.
We need your help!
Amuzor is close to release, and we need to fill it with (appropriate) content before we launch, so that we can have a stable base to stand on.
If you want to help, you're all invited to go to www.amuzor.com, log in and then submit a few things that you think could be interesting.
If you decide to help us please, please, please be appropriate. The content we get now and launch with is what will determine our success or failure in the near future.
If you decide to submit something, please tag and title it appropriately, and always specify correctly if it was made by you or someone else and include the author's information if you know it.
Those who will help us with this will be given a "Veteran" badge. Badges are a sort of reward we give to users who give important contributions to our site. It's our way of saying thanks.
Lastly, if you happen to find any bugs, please report them using the "Feedback" button you can see at the top-right of each page.
Many thanks to anyone who chooses to help us.

I'd gladly help! What kind of content do you want in there? Seems a bit unclear to me.
Edit: WOOOOOOP Experiencing some 502s once in a while.

Thanks, it means heaps if you choose to help! It's an aggregator, so anything that you find funny or interesting that you think others would like too.

You can submit anything you want, really, but we're trying to stay away from the cheap memes that you can find on sites like 9gag. I think subreddits like http://www.reddit.com/r/pics or http://www.reddit.com/r/funny or http://www.reddit.com/r/videos are closer to the model we're looking for on our submissions.
Thank you very much for the help, by the way!

Small thing. Make sure that your session key is set as an actual session cookie instead of just a http cookie.

Or being able to change nickname + remove the link to your Facebook on your profile. Some people do like privacy, after all.

Woops, fixed. We may allow registration at a later date. If you're worried about us abusing your Facebook account (if you have one) you can disable our write privileged which are only called if you select "Post to Facebook" when submitting a submission anyway. You can also disable your cover and avatar in settings. In the following days if I have time I'll add a way to mask your username too.
