Just a suggestion if it hasn't been done yet, why not make a thread for Amuzor, Tera? Could be useful!
Agreed. I don't think there would be any opposers, mainly everyone who browses this sub forum posts in this thread anyway. If nothing else it'd stop us hogging this thread.
I'm not going to sign up for amuzor if it has to have me link my facebook :/
Enabling username masking in the settings page will automatically remove the link to your FB profile from your page.
The Facebook link that was on profiles before is gone with username masking, if you set your privacy settings correctly, guessing your Facebook will just give them this instead: [thumb]http://static.harlex.org/png/YxQVndbvC4bMLdLlIHND2jPv[/thumb]
That's just if you're not logged in.
To those who submit feedback, first of all thank you very much, we also wanted to let you know that although we have no way to directly reply to you (unless we sent you an email, which we could probably do), we do read them all and give the badge as a reward to everyone who deserves it. Thanks!

It's mostly pictures of stuff that wakes your interest and lights up your brain. It's just sad I don't have any good pictures. Remember to link to your post when you made it. (You don't have to fill it entirely out at first though)

By the way, quick question for everyone, is the site being slow at loading pages for any of you? Please report to us here or leave feedback on amuzor.com if you experience any slow downs that feel out of the ordinary. Thanks.
Not really any general slowdowns - but I have a quick suggestion of making the Veteran (etc.) tags a little smaller. They're quite distracting on the comment sections. Running: Windows 8 Pro 64bit Google Chrome 1920 x 1080 [SUP]Edited [/SUP]Also, what are you calling this value? (Reputation, karma, contribution, etc.)

One concern about the Karma points: As seen with Reddit, even if the Karma is essentially meaningless, people try everything to have them, which includes non-original content, reposts, memes, everything that has a safe value. If you want to break that habit, just hide the points. You can still count them internally in the database or whatever, and reward the best users. But please take that factor into account. The potential for a community to become yet-another-generic-web-thing is is limitless.
It encourages users to post, stay active and work towards something, as meaning-less as it is.
Oh god... I'm already addicted to this thing... Just put up 5 pictures from one of my friends... They look gorgeous. WOOP: You can't see that somebody else made the picture if the field is blank. (Or am I missing something?)
It encourages users to post, stay active and work towards something, as meaning-less as it is.
I just want the best for the project :)
Is Amuzor going to have pagination or infinite scrolling? Infinite scrolling works great, however, when there are to many images the pages starts lagging and scrolling becomes really uncomfortable.

People who "karma whore", unless their submissions are actually good, are going to be countered vigorously (that includes deleting bad submissions or even banning users who continue submitting bad content just for the karma boost). Also, if we actually manage to grow an educated community (of which we're trying to plant the seeds now) we might manage to trigger a mechanism where the actual users punish the "whores" by not upvoting their submissions when they see they're just an attempt to get more points. What do I have to do for veteran status? I like this. A lot.
WOOP: You can't see that somebody else made the picture if the field is blank. (Or am I missing something?)
Are you referring to when you set it's made by "Someone else" but do not fill the fields? If you look closely, when you do that on the submission it will just say that it's been submitted by you. If it were created by someone else or by you it would also include the word "Created". [editline]18th November 2012[/editline]
What do I have to do for veteran status? I like this. A lot.
Just submit something. Every once in a while I browse through all new submissions and reward the veteran tags to the people who have yet to get it.
Is there any "list of the ranks available"? :D

[editline]18th November 2012[/editline]
Is there any "list of the ranks available"? :D
There aren't really any well defined ranks. We usually just go to our users' pages, press a button and type in the badge we want to give them.

[editline]18th November 2012[/editline]
okay, one more question. I posted a photo on there, I like it, will post more when I am on my desktop as I only have a few things on this laptop, I'll report any bugs I find
How do people get community helper?
You get community helper when you submit valid feedback to Amuzor. It overrides your Veteran badge.
You get community helper when you submit valid feedback to Amuzor. It overrides your Veteran badge.
I think I prefer the Veteran badge. It sounds cooler - but if I find problems I'll submit them nonetheless.
I think I prefer the Veteran badge. It sounds cooler - but if I find problems I'll submit them nonetheless.
I did, and I kinda miss my Veteran badge :D
If you post a link to your amuzor user page here I think I can give you your veteran badge back. [editline]18th November 2012[/editline] By the way, we still need to write our terms of service. If anybody has any experience in that field and would like to give us a hand, you can add me on steam.

You should think about doing that.
:3 Also, the Image on my profile, that of my Facebook page, isn't centered like the on on my facebook page. You should think about doing that.
I don't think we can do that easily. Facebook gives us no information about the positioning of the image on their cover.
I think my Mom likes Amuzor...
Wow, we're getting so much feedback :D We'll slowly read and address all of it!
