I'm doing an online IT certification thing (It's not what you think) and I thought I'd share the site with you guys, since you LOVE this kinda thing
Homepage, complete with animated .gifs

Logon page, yes, that is compression artifacts on the text

Misaligned elements? Greyed out buttons, fake transparency, compressed .jpg banners? We've got it all

Seems they forgot the difference between checkboxes and radio buttons for this question

At least we've got some quality buttons for page selection

Remember kids, efficiency is all about making your source as wide as possible (And never using CSS)

This site should be used as an example in schools

I do have the [del]tendency[/del] urge to carve out the eyeballs of the person who made that website now.
Well, I've been playing with my canvas game of life some more...

Any feedback would be awesome.

Oh for fuck sake, even I can do better than that.
Whats the best way to take screenshot of the current page user is browsing ? Page is dynamically changed so the capture should include the latest state of the page once you click on capture button.
Should have formatting intact, even for float elements.

Looks beautiful. Probably work out on buttons.

Thanks, this has mainly been an exercise teaching myself JavaScript whilst playing with the canvas.
On the layout side of things, it is pretty basic, bits and pieces have just been added as and when the need has arisen.
Everybody loves a little 2 minute buggy responsive design

Looks nice, but that recording software makes the whole thing look like it's putting a massive strain on your PC.
I assume it's not that laggy, right? :D
'spent some time working on a portfolio page today.
There is still a lot of tweaking to be done but here's a mock of what I got for now.
Any CnC would be great!

I also messed around with my other site and came up with this, which I'll probably put somewhere on the WEBDEV page.
[thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Page_element.jpg[/thumb]
It still feels a bit disproportionate so I'll probably keep playing with it.
And random doodad: The photo in the slider is from a trip I took to the Galapagos. 'sick place!

No, it updates instantly it's not laggy at all!
Jing seems to just record pretty slowly, I'll have it up for all to see soon once I finish some page structure
For some reason, when I give a div a width value of 100%, it extends beyond its container div. Can anyone shed some light on the situation. For example here I'm having to set the width of the Soundcloud container to 96% to get it close which is clearly not the best way to do it. Thanks.

padding?
Ah I see. I would have thought padding would resort to squashing the contents of the div when it has a set width value, rather than breaking the width.
I just discovered that if I don't use float:left; on the div, it automatically takes up the full width which is what I was looking for. Cheers guys.
Man, this is my first time making a wordpress theme that is responsive, and all these CSS styles are driving me crazy, Especially complex forms.
ahhaggggg
I made this in a few minutes for a friend. It's his birthday and some friends and me bought him his own site. The cake was baked by Torrion Dear of http://orange-zombie.com/. The site is located at http://www.wergulz.net/

It was fixed in the final revision.

Guess it makes more sense to show that one. One moment.
WIP for 2nd page.
I'm planning to add little arrows and scribbled text around the platform-thing so it isn't as empty feeling
(while also giving an excuse to have that there in the first place...)
[thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/webdev.png[/thumb]
Edit:
Finished mocking the Interfaces page too.
First two pages have been html-ized so I'll try to get a live preview later tomorrow.
I just noticed I messed up the navbar underlining on this one. Meh w/e.

Nexa is a great font, but I personally wouldn't use it for long texts.
edit: Or small text
Completed current page content to pdf 95%. Feels so good.

Yea, maybe going to swap it out on the content text :)
Just made it live on github.

It's still obviously a WIP but much of the formatting has been completed. The code is still messy though.
Edit:
Ick. Just noticed I fucked up some of the id naming. Oh well. I'll fix them tomorrow.

It all looks great, but the 'contact me' area with the extremely small buttons doesn't seem fitting. Maybe you should try making logos similar to your text (inwards shadow etc)... I don't know, the small buttons just don't seem good.
Also, remove the dot after 'Contact me'... would look better in my opinion.
^^also, grow a mustache for portfolio pic.

Why do you have Coming soon trade marked ?

I going to hazard a guess and say it has something to do with the Riot Games SoonTM thing.
I'm making my dad a website for christmas. He's a photographer but wasn't sure if he wanted to jump into getting a website. Now he has to muahaha.
