Hexxeh, the first part of your easter egg doesn't work for me, but the second part does.
Someone re-name this thread to "What is Hexxeh working on? v1".
So I kinda want to host games people have made. I'm currently hosting a game from a FPer which is awesome! If anyone else would like to have it hosted just ask :D. www.swefox.nu, I need more inspiration to improve it. I still need to do something about the about page, but I have no friggin clue atm. [editline]15th January 2013[/editline] Same host also has hosting for servers etc. So I'm gonna run a couple game servers. My dream would be to get it successful to be able to create a site/forum for it. Even though it would be small. That would be rad as fuck, just something to work on.
I fucking LOVE @font-face! Pardon my french. [thumb]http://puu.sh/1O4Jm[/thumb]
banding :c
New Myspace launched to the public. Pretty neat.
banding :c
only 16 million colors to choose.
We need 281474976710656 color screens [editline]15th January 2013[/editline] Yes only for the banding
Adding a little noise.. A LITTLE, like, enough that it's pretty much impossible to see, helps with that a lot. Also, photoshop defaults to 8 bit color so if you bump that up to 16 before you save files with large subtle gradients it helps a lot (although it makes the file size bigger too)
Just spent 15-20 minutes banging out a little bit more work on the http://spoonfedstyle.com homepage

Sites like this one are allways giving me inspiration to start a own small webshop project
Doesn't your IDE have an auto formatting cleanup function?
Sublime does, but it doesn't seem to work properly on php. I've been using php_beautifier on a case by case basis, but I keep opening files and finding shit like this. One of the earlier files was 2000 lines long and had no indentation at any point in the horrendous mix of raw HTML and php. Maintenance of freelancer written code.
You should try using svgs for the images, it gets a bit blurry on the iPad
Yeah, I need to give the site a little high-dpi love. I want to overhaul the design eventually though so I'm waiting on that. I just wanted to make the home page a little more visual for now.
Im working on my final exam. Here is a live copy bit.ly/11uXBQ9
Im working on my final exam. Here is a live copy bit.ly/11uXBQ9
Are you in highschool. I sure hope you are. Your teacher doesn't knows what he's doing and you should drop that class. Or at least get that teacher fired for being 80 years old and not keeping up with current techniques. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but if that's the way you're being taught to create a website then you might as well drop the class because you're not learning anything good nor useful. Unless the point of this assignment is to demonstrate how NOT to do webdesign.
Main reason being using a table for the layout. There's divs and css for that
it's more than likely not the teacher rather the curriculum, the exam board, whatever. a lot of them are years behind on that kind of thing, but sadly you have to do things to the spec, so a piece of coursework written without tables would not score as highly as one with tables due to them looking for tables in the marking criteria

He shouldn't waste his time learning to do something the wrong way; he would be better off learning in his own time if he really wants to learn how to create proper websites.

Sometimes, you have a shitty professor, but no alternative to get your grade. And you have to cope with it. I sure hope it's you case. But if it's not, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO OUR BRAINS YOU CRAZY
Sometimes, you have a shitty professor, but no alternative to get your grade. And you have to cope with it. I sure hope it's you case.
Well my professor is great, knows a lot about html5 and javascript, he works with canvas easily but hates void elements, which he replaces with self-closing, uses w3shools fuckin' a lot and he says something like "they made html5 worse". So yeah, cope with it or else...
I had a professor in Networking who ignored most of what we were supposed to learn. At least the retarded stuff. He made his own and based his judgement on our knowledge and not according to what some paper said. I still talk to him now and then.
Could I get some CC on this? It'll eventually be a sort of tourist site with information about a certain city, so take note that's just a placeholder logo ( and sorry for the blocked out portion in the footer, don't like giving away too much information ). http://i.imgur.com/oqmGQ.png
