Unless you have a very good reason. For example, when you're in the trading queue of www.tf2wh.com, you hear a notification sound when a bot is ready to trade. (and you can turn it off.)

Active real-time latency graphs. I'm going to make the line be the main color of the favicon and some other cool stuff. Just to avoid any confusion I'm not affiliated with Envato. [editline]a[/editline]

[editline]a[/editline]
At first I thought that higher was for better performance because of how low the latency is for Bigpond. Man, I have so much trouble coming to grips with not being the only Australian on the internet sometimes. They look nice though! I suppose you're using canvas to render them - can't honestly think of any other way aside from flash widgets which probably wouldn't be worth the trouble. Might I suggest having the highest and lowest latencies currently on the graph shown as numbers? Maybe have them centered above and below the captions. And for cases like the Soundcloud one, perhaps adding a background behind the captions would help with the line obstructing it.

I rushed the styling so it's not as refined and thought out as I'd like.
Never ever automatically play music on a website.
Unless you're being ironic.
Just don't do it, plain and simple. I have music on the background, I don't want to listen to your music unless I clicked a "Play" button...
Duh, I know. I just meant it should have a disable button anyways..
Duh, I know. I just meant it should have a disable button anyways..
Wasn't directed to you, that's one of the reasons I dislike the absence of quote nesting on FP :(
I remember you from pubgamers, you'd shutdown once every two months and then auto play dramatic music from Hans Zimmer along with "sad" quotes.
We shut down twice in span of 5 years due to excessive ddos attacks, and closed down early 2012 due to the community members hating each other. And yes, i know how annoying autoplay music can be. I would never put it on anything other then a single page and usually have a mute button. [Edit] On topic, working on a simple in-game store:

I just found out that, for example, if you'd put
var ctx = document.getElementById("loading").getContext("2d")
in a Javascript file, Sublime Text recognizes it and shows a list of canvas functions when you type ctx. Just wow.
currently working on my portfolio: http://qwook.github.com/ no content there yet also don't get on my butt about the "I want to build the present" part, I wrote that in 2 minutes as a filler... although I actually might keep it. it's also responsive.

Lemme checl [editline]25th January 2013[/editline] Apparently it's SublimeCodeIntel doing that. Still awesome.
Anyone else use Pycharm? Loving it lately

I wonder if I should make it have a larger font size at certain screens. And thanks :P
Those of you in the webdev skype chat will have seen bits and bobs of this, but I've finally got round to finalising (sort of) my project after weeks of no work on it :( Here it is: http://www.confide.re/ it's a site where people can post confessions anonymously and read other people's things and upvote them etc
Are the things on there right now dummy data? Because a lot of them sound really weird
Are the things on there right now dummy data? Because a lot of them sound really weird
a lot of them are just made up by my friends, yeah I still need to figure out a way to kickstart it with legit confessions before I post it on Facebook and launch it properly
Why are you using my fireworks models without my permission? PS: Your store looks pretty cool.
Placeholders mate ;P Thanks for the feedback!

If I wanted to look at OSX I'd get a mac.
that doesn't look like osx at all
Looks more like Origin or Ubuntu.

It's not the same though. And what about the dropdown?
it's cut off by the bottom of the "window"
that doesn't look like osx at all
It reminds me more of OSX because of the border shadow, but I guess the rest doesn't look like OSX that much.
