I am shit at French, I gave it up at the start of Year 9 and started focusing on German. I'm doing that website as homework/practice. Sir wanted us to make a single-slide powerpoint on it. So I asked if I could make a website. Now keep in mind, at the moment I'm Year 9, and the Year 11 GCSE's look like what you would expect, literally a website from 1998. And we use dreamweaver. For the game making course we will use AS2. That website took me about 3-4 hours total to make, I refine things a lot. It takes one of the GCSE students an entire course to make a website from 1998 with ~StArFiElD GiFs~ . sorry for going a bit off topic.
Working on a base CMS / extendible framework for work. Aiming for bonus points before my review. [editline]12th May 2012[/editline] Ignore the placekitten and horrible styling.

Really makes life a lot easier when designing a site.
slowly but surely making my project comply with PEP8 [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] SO MANY DOCSTRINGS
Looks really nice, but: Padding, please? :(. Might also want to consider making the rows tall enough for 2 lines by default. Looks kind of awkward with the the bigger rows in between the nice and skinny ones.
Better? The problem with making the rows two units tall would be that then they'd be too tall...
Lots of hugs. And yes, I feel your dilemma. I'd still add a bit more padding to top and bottom, though.

Why are you rating me funny. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] Shitty automerge.

Fugue would work quite nicely.
Fugue would work quite nicely.
I would actually use a monotone icon set instead.
http://grannys.no-ip.org/transport-craft/grouppage/ The result of Bordem. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] Just trying to mash up a background for this.
I would actually use a monotone icon set instead.
Would make for a very bland and dull design.
http://grannys.no-ip.org/transport-craft/grouppage/ The result of Bordem. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] Just trying to mash up a background for this.
Grey text on a grey background with a light grey border is horrible. And next time you save a .png, make it interlaced.
Grey text on a grey background with a light grey border is horrible. And next time you save a .png, make it interlaced.
It doesn't really have a purpose, Just got bored. And thinking of tweeking the colours around for a more modern theme.
I would actually use a monotone icon set instead.
grayscale or low saturation fugue icons which turn to full colour on hover might work nicely
I really don't see the point of switching to an icon set that looks so similar to Silk, just because they're a little overused.
Yay wireframes [editline]13th May 2012[/editline]
I really don't see the point of switching to an icon set that looks so similar to Silk, just because they're a little overused.
It's not that they're overused, it's that they're ugly. [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] How does the bar look if I cut it up at the edges? [editline]13th May 2012[/editline] What the hell, I just realized the bar looks almost the same as the one on Photoshop.com and it's the first time I ever visit that site.
Well it's hardly a unique design idea lol What do you make your wireframes with? Photoshop?
navbars do generally look alike though, so it isn't really that big of a deal
What do you make your wireframes with? Photoshop?
Mockingbird.
An idea for the breadcrumbs hover state (not very good though):
Not a fan of the breadcrumbs, it looks like it's from a cheap Wordpress theme.
Not a fan of the breadcrumbs, it looks like it's from a cheap Wordpress theme.
Hmm... What would you suggest? Why don't you like them? Also, what if I limit the navbar horizontally like this?
